VIVIENNE's POV
"Dammit, Vivi!"
Roman's dark roar shattered the foggy air of the bathroom just before my feet could hit the cold floor.
I barely had a second to draw a single, ragged breath before his broad hands shot out, grabbing me around my waist with a fierce, terrifying strength.
He didn't let me rest, didn't let me slide down his body.
He hoisted my wet, naked frame straight up into the air as if I weighed nothing at all, slamming my back hard against the rough, steam-drenched stone wall beside the bath basin.
THUD.
A sharp gasp tore from my throat as the cool, bumpy stone bit into my shoulder blades.
My dark, wet hair was pinned between my back and the wall, my chest heaving violently as I looked down into Roman's face.
His glowing crimson eyes were completely unhinged, burning with a dark, primal hunger that told me the storm was far from over.
He hoisted my thighs up, hooking my knees securely over his thick, muscular forearms.
