(For distinction, later gods from other worlds will be marked with quotation marks, such as "Zeus", "Hera".)
Under Hades's cover and guidance, Alexander's tens of millions of legions, like a stream of ink, quietly integrated into the underworld of the 'other world'.
This did not cause an uproar among the shades under the command of "Hades", nor did it alarm any of the Olympian gods.
This stream of steel from another world lurked in the realm of death, sharpening its claws and awaiting the conqueror's orders.
Alexander knew that in a war against local gods in a foreign land, intelligence and speed were crucial.
Instead of charging headlong at Olympus, he chose a more deadly decapitation strategy.
He decided to secretly hold a grand 'army games' in Eleusis.
This was a ceremony to showcase bravery before "Hermes".
As expected, as the god of travelers, merchants, and messengers, "Hermes" almost instinctively responded to this concentrated and intense call.
His figure appeared at the altar with a light breeze and a cunning smile.
"Oh? Interesting mortals, you called... Huh?!"
Before he could finish his frivolous words, a sudden change occurred!
Hercules, who had already been lying in ambush from the side, charged like a golden lion!
His power, capable of shaking mountains, instantly transformed into invisible shackles, imprisoning the space around "Hermes", making it impossible for him to use the speed and agility for which he was renowned.
Almost simultaneously, Alexander's eyes were as cold as iron, and the "Spear of Divine Retribution" in his hand, condensed from hundreds of millions of war resentments, had already been thrown!
The spear's shaft tore through the air, emitting the countless wails of the dead, penetrating the divine body of "Hermes" with great precision!
This shrewd messenger god couldn't even fully exclaim; his divinity instantly collapsed under the effect of the "Spear of Divine Retribution", specially designed to kill gods!
His divinity transformed into a small ribbon, and before it could escape, it was greedily devoured by the spear, becoming fuel for its fury.
All of this happened as fast as lightning, and worked flawlessly.
On the side, Jason calmly put away the magical array used to disrupt and obscure the battlefield's aura.
It was he who had proposed the strategy of prioritizing decapitation: "We must prioritize killing the gods capable of transmitting information, paralyzing their eyes and ears, turning Olympus into the deaf and blind!"
The first battle was won, and easily killing a major god boosted the morale of Alexander's legion.
Alexander's gaze fell upon the sky, upon the bright bridge across the heavens.
"Next target," he said quietly, with undisguised killing intent.
"The rainbow goddess—'Iris'."
As a messenger of the gods, especially the loyal messenger of the Queen of Heaven "Hera", "Iris" possessed great speed and the ability to deliver messages.
If they did not eliminate her, their actions could be revealed to the Olympian gods at any moment.
Just as Alexander's legion was like a venomous snake in the shadows, beginning to hunt the gods of another world, Hades was not idle in the underworld of this world.
Hades entered the temple of the primordial god "Nyx", merging the power of the Twin Worlds of Hades.
"Nyx" was not too surprised by Hades's appearance.
Throughout her long life, the silent lord of Hades had occasionally come to her for wisdom or power on important matters.
She sat on a throne formed of frozen night, her body shrouded in deep shadows, and her voice was ethereal and ancient: "Hades, what brings you to leave your dark realm and come to my kingdom? Are the riches and souls of the underworld no longer enough to satisfy your authority?"
She naturally thought this was Hades from this world, unable to contain his ambitions and wanting to gain her support to claim the throne atop Olympus.
Such a possibility did not disgust "Nyx"; she was even happy to see it.
A change of God-King was merely a long ripple to her; if the "underworld's Zeus" wanted to try, she wouldn't mind offering some minor assistance within the bounds of the rules.
Though, in her opinion, the chances of success were slim; Hades was by no means a prophesied God-King.
But that was before.
Now, "Nyx's" fate was extremely chaotic.
Chaos, like never before.
The 'constants' she saw were fragmented and contradictory, as if countless invisible hands were simultaneously pulling the threads of fate, playing a completely unsynchronized noise.
She saw Zeus ruling as God-King until the end of the world;
saw a certain drunken "Dionysus" crowned, the world going mad;
saw the goddess of wisdom "Athena" reigning over Olympus with an unprecedentedly strong posture, the radiance of wisdom enveloping everything;
even saw "Apollo" driving the sun chariot towards the throne of the God-King, or "Hermes" stealing power through trickery...
There were so many possibilities!
So many they defied common sense, as if fate itself had fallen into schizophrenia.
These contradictory 'futures' intertwined, making it impossible for her to determine which one was the true mainstream, which one was the 'constant' that could be achieved.
And what disturbed her most was that just recently, before Hades had stepped into her temple, the entire spindle of fate seemed to be violently torn by an invisible giant hand, and a strong tremor occurred, making her tremble.
Since then, the already chaotic web of fate had become even more blurred, as if shrouded in a mist that even her eyes could not penetrate.
Now she could barely 'see' any clear future.
"Nyx" looked questioningly at Hades, who stood silently below.
Was it him? Could he be the cause of the confusion of fate?
But it seemed he didn't have such an ability.
Or was this confusion related to him?
Hades had a panoramic view of the subtle mood swings in "Nyx".
He knew where the confusion of the night god came from—the collision of two worlds, the intervention of his 'outsider' self, and the group of Alexander's invaders from another world had already turned the fate of this world upside down.
And his act of absorbing Hades from this world added the biggest variable to an already chaotic equation.
He needed to take advantage of this chaos.
"Respected Nyx," Hades spoke, his voice as soft and low as ever.
"I do not covet supreme authority; I am merely concerned about the end of this chaos."
His half-truth hinted at possible ambitions, masking them as 'concern' for the world's stability.
"At this unpredictable moment," he continued, calmly meeting "Nyx's" scrutinizing gaze.
"I hope for your guidance, or at least, your awareness. Some orders may need to be disrupted for the sake of restoration."
He did not directly ask for support, but for 'non-interference'.
This fit Hades's usual cautious image and was easier for "Nyx" to accept.
"Nyx" was silent, the darkness surging around her.
She could not see through Hades, let alone her own fate at this moment.
Finally, her ethereal voice sounded again, with a note of interest:
"The threads of fate are indeed tangled, Hades. I cannot promise, but... I can turn a blind eye to the future for a time. As for what drama will be staged on this scene..."
Her figure slowly dissolved into the darkness, leaving only her final words echoing in the temple:
"...Let me look forward to it a little."
