Chapter 37 - Chapter 37: Little Ali’s troubles are gone, and the big competition begins!

Little Ali looked Allen up and down, a disdainful smile on his face. "You?"

When everyone got out of the car earlier, he had seen with his own eyes that this young man was just helping Kaioh Kaku with his wheelchair. Even pushing the wheelchair was taken over by someone else. What qualifications did he have to test him?

But that's fine. Facing such a weak opponent, he could save his moves for the upcoming Great Raitai Tournament.

Allen didn't answer, just stood calmly in place. He looked like a very ordinary young man; besides being handsome, he had no other distinguishing features.

Ryuu Kaio slightly lowered his head, his shoulders shaking non-stop, occasionally making strange noises. He couldn't hold back his laughter!

"Pfft... Let's change locations. Let's fight in the hotel's special training ground."

"After all, it's a qualification match for the Great Raitai Tournament, so it should be more formal. And call an ambulance while you're at it." Ryuu Kaio finished speaking, covered his mouth, and ran into the hotel.

The disciples following Ryuu Kaio looked at Little Ali with some sympathy.

"Then let's go in first." Little Ali looked indifferent. A simple spar even required an ambulance, plus the sympathetic glances from those around him. How weak was this young man?

Everyone arrived at the training ground behind the hotel. Ryuu Kaio, wiping away tears, leaned over to Kaiou Retsu.

"Retsu, how many seconds do you think this guy can last against Allen?"

Kaiou Retsu shook his head helplessly. "Master, you're being very impolite." But the corners of his mouth couldn't help but turn up.

Kaioh Kaku, on the other hand, sat in the center, smiling without speaking, waiting for the spar to begin.

Little Ali hadn't expected that a simple spar would even draw Kaioh Kaku to watch. His smile deepened a few shades.

Although he was somewhat leveraging his father's name, this was also an acknowledgment of his strength.

He would let everyone know.

He, Little Ali, the son of the boxing champion Ali, was no weaker than his father, the boxing champion Ali, back in the day!

Little Ali stood in the center of the arena, rotating his wrists, a look of disdain on his face.

He looked at Allen, who was standing opposite him, just casually, without even assuming a basic fighting stance.

"Can I wear gloves? I'm afraid my punches will be too heavy later and hurt him, which wouldn't be good." Little Ali said, taking out a pair of blue boxing gloves from his bag and putting them on.

"Kid, it's not too late to surrender now." Little Ali grinned, revealing his white teeth.

"I don't want people to say I bully children." He moved his shoulders, making a "clack, clack" sound, then assumed a boxing stance, his feet moving nimbly.

"Begin." Allen replied curtly, then looked at him calmly. This feeling of being underestimated made Little Ali feel a surge of anger.

"Hmph!" Little Ali suddenly attacked, a sharp straight punch cutting through the air towards Allen.

"Bang!"

The punch landed squarely on Allen's face, but Little Ali felt as if he had hit a steel plate. He was shocked to find that Allen hadn't even tilted his head.

"What?" Little Ali quickly retreated, looking at his fist in disbelief.

Ryuu Kaio on the sidelines was already laughing so hard he couldn't stand straight. "Hahaha... I knew this would happen!"

Kaiou Retsu shook his head helplessly. "Master, you're being very impolite."

Kaioh Kaku narrowed his eyes slightly, a knowing smile on his face. Little Lin was using the psychological tactics he had taught him. It seemed he wanted to completely crush this 'cheap goods' in front of him.

Little Ali, not believing it, charged forward again. This time it was a combination of punches, each blow accurately hitting Allen's vital points, but Allen remained motionless.

"This is impossible!" Cold sweat seeped from Little Ali's forehead. He felt as if a great mountain stood before him.

Seeing Little Ali stop his attack, Allen finally spoke. "Your forehand is sloppy, your backhand is weak, your footwork is loose, not a single move is decent. And you want to compete with me on the same stage?"

"I'll let you know how weak you are! How incompetent!"

"You..." Before Little Ali could finish speaking, Allen had instantly vanished. He only felt a gust of wind sweep past as his head, abdomen, and groin were struck with fatal blows.

Immediately after, he lost consciousness, not even having a chance to scream.

Since he couldn't control his 'little head,' Allen would help him sever the root of his troubles.

Little Ali's body flew out like a kite with a broken string, crashing heavily through the training ground wall, blood gushing from his mouth and nose.

"Wee-woo! Wee-woo! Wee-woo!" The ambulance arrived at the hotel entrance at that very moment.

"Hoo! Perfect timing! Hahaha!" Ryuu Kaio couldn't stop laughing.

"I told you so, he really couldn't last even three seconds." Ryuu Kaio wiped away the tears from laughing.

Kaiou Retsu shook his head helplessly. It was the first time he had seen his Master so happy, even changing into a flashy light purple floral shirt.

Kaioh Kaku slowly pushed his wheelchair, his cloudy eyes sparkling with curious light. "Little Lin, did he have a grudge with you? Such a heavy hand?"

Allen shrugged. "He had a bit of a grudge with my friend, and I was already holding back. I didn't expect him to be so fragile."

The ambulance quickly took the unconscious Little Ali to the hospital, while Allen followed the others into the hotel lobby.

Baki had already heard from Kaiou Retsu about Allen standing up for him. He gave Allen a weak smile. "Allen, long time no see... you've gotten stronger again."

Allen nodded. "You too. Remember to be more moderate."

Baki smiled weakly. "I will... continue to fight."

...The next day, the weather was clear, with not a cloud in the sky.

The circular stone tower soared into the clouds. On its light gray walls, countless red and gold coiled dragon pillars shimmered in the sunlight. This was the venue for the century-old Great Raitai Tournament!

Countless spectators stood outside the tower, waiting to enter. Everyone was filled with anticipation for this fighting extravaganza that only happened once every hundred years.

As the lights in the stone tower came on, the cheers of the audience echoed through the sky.

"After a hundred years, we meet again." The host's passionate voice resonated from the arena.

"Today, twelve warriors who protect their nations are here."

"Ryuu Kaio, Blackwater Province, White Dragon Temple."

"Kaiou Retsu, also from Blackwater Province, White Dragon Temple."

"Kaioh Ri, Guangdong Province, Yaoying Boxing."

"King Jikai, Japan, Empty Handed Karate."

..."Can everyone accept that there are only twelve customary contestants here?"

"Of course not!" A deafening protest erupted from the stands.

The host smiled mysteriously. "Then, let us welcome our special guest contestants!"

"Competing again after a hundred years, the true, genuine person, the 146-year-old former Great Raitai Tournament champion, still alive, the Haihuang among Haihuangs, Guo — Hai — huang!"

With Kaioh Kaku's entrance, a deafening cheer erupted throughout the entire arena.

This 146-year-old pinnacle of martial arts sat in a wheelchair, slowly pushing the wheels to enter the arena.

"Next are the three contestants temporarily confirmed by the Martial Arts Association."

"Kaioh Kaku's direct disciple, known as China's ultimate weapon of strength and skill, Lin — Xiu!"

Allen felt a tingling in his scalp hearing the host's introduction. It seemed he just couldn't escape the title of China's ultimate weapon, could he?

Amidst the audience's cheers, Allen walked calmly into the arena with a straight face. In such a grand occasion, he had to maintain his composure! Be cool!

Allen stood behind Kaioh Kaku. Today, both the old man and the young man were dressed in white martial arts attire. Feeling the thunderous shouts of thousands of spectators, he suddenly felt that such a scene was quite nice occasionally.

The corner of his mouth involuntarily turned up slightly, then he suppressed it again. Very cool, no talking.

Allen had to live up to the host's passionate introduction.

"The next two contestants are, from Japan, Yujiro Hanma! And also from Japan, Baki Hanma!"
