Chapter 7 - Suguru geto

Almost freaking forgot to post.

A few days earlier, before the gambling incident—

Tendou:

"Maybe I should kill these brats. Framing curses isn't a problem."

(After listening to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star for the nth time, seeing a chubby kid trying to bully him because he looks delicate and has an unusual appearance — totally not because the bully's own damn sister compared him to Tendou in cuteness and grades.)

AN:

You have to understand, this MC isn't a grown adult. His whole mental age is barely nine — 6.5 years from the previous life and two from this life. As for why he is so listless or acting this way, there's something wrong with the people who are going to question this.

He doesn't have a moral compass. We are all made by our parents. Our parents, who raised us, are the only reason we can survive in this system.

Then Tendou asked for a restroom break and literally ran outside.

Tendou:

"I should maybe join a club. If I remember correctly, joining a club and winning its competitions and tournaments would ease the watch on me, and maybe I can even skip school."

"Then it's decided. We join a fighting support club."

Bamm

Then Tendou bumped into another kid who was his senior by two years straight.

Geto Suguru:

"Hey, kōhai (junior), can't you look where you're going before marching like that? And what's with your absurd strength?"

Tendou, walking up to the fallen Suguru Geto and extending a hand:

"I'm sorry. I was just not focused, senp—"

(Looking at the kid who reminded of a certain monkey killer)

Geto Suguru took his hand for support, stood up, and said,

"Okay. Just watch where you're going next time."

Tendou, acting shy:

"Uhmm… wha—what's yo… yor… your name, senpai?"

Suguru Geto:

"We aren't that close. Anyway, Suguru Geto. And it's not polite to ask someone's name without introducing yourself."

Tendou:

"…"

"Itadori Tendou. Will you be my friend, Suguru senpai?"

Suguru Geto:

Who himself was friendless, was stunned but thought nothing of it.

"Yes, but we just met right now. I don't know—"

"Yesss! Yessssss— wait, I mean yes. Yes."

Tendou:

"Thank you, senpai! We will be best friends from now on."

Suguru Geto:

"I said yes."

Tendou:

"I know you said yes, senpai. Why are you repeating it? Could it be you're so excited that you can't stop feeling joy?"

Geto (in his mind):

"…What the hell is going on? I want to say no. I literally said no, but my mouth just refuses to answer my call. Damn. Now I'll look like someone bullying a kid."

Tendou (in his mind):

"Heheheheheh… did you think you could refuse?"

Tendou:

"Then, senpai, can you come to my home? I have a few newly released video games."

(Though this era's games are downhill. Tendou has started collecting electronics and begun preparations for a gaming company.)

Geto:

"Sure, but—"

Geto looked like his mouth had personally betrayed him and wanted to find a corner to sulk in.

Tendou:

"Senpai, you're my first friend. Let's get alonggggg!"

Geto:

Who had hopes of denying or pacifying the junior in the future felt his life drain away at the end of the conversation. He was filled with self-doubt, feeling like he'd been scammed out of a million yen or something.

AN:

"Well, that's all for today, lmao.

I know it's a little short, but I had an eye checkup today, so I can't type properly. Ignore any mistakes I made."
