Chapter 92 - Attention

The problem with having a two-year-old daughter who could accidentally create dimensional rifts was that word spread fast, and by week three after the incident we'd received contact requests from eleven different supernatural factions wanting to "discuss the bond-hybrid's development" which was political speak for "we heard your kid is absurdly powerful and we want to evaluate whether that's a threat."

"The European Council wants a delegation visit." Kael read through the requests with increasing tension. "The Asian Coalition is requesting formal alliance talks. Three independent covens want research partnerships. And—" He stopped. "The Unseelie Court is asking for a meeting."

The Unseelie Court. Right. Because dealing with one Fae court hadn't been traumatic enough apparently we needed to consider the other half.

"Hard no on the Fae." My immediate response. "We're not doing that again. Ever."
