He could hear the voice of the Root Devil echoing inside it's Terrain.
"This is the the end of you... Exorcists"...
Regi moves forward...
Suddenly a root from underground...
Slashes his leg...
But Regi regenerates instantly...
"You forgot... I had the power of my Covenant" Regi.
"No... I haven't" Root Devil.
Roots from everywhere binds Regi in one place...
"F### of you roots..." Regi.
He drops his sword...
The Root Devil finally appears infront of him...
"This is the end for you... Regi.
Root press hard on Regi...
He is slowly losing his breath...
His lungs are about to burst...
Fight vs Essence Devil...
TERRAIN EXPANSION...
VOID OF EXTRACTION...
Haru, Yamado and Toxin are dragged into the Terrain.
There are in the middle of the island...
The island is surrounded by water...
The entire dimension colour is blue...
"Where are we... Anyone mind explaining" Haru.
"We are... In the Devil's TERRAIN" Yamado.
"How can we escape" Haru.
"Look around" Toxin.
They all look around...
But there's nothing...
It's just a small island...
Devil's shadow appear...
It's not the shadow...
It's the Devil itself...
"Having fun... Here" Essence Devil.
"Not much... If you mind us leave" Yamado.
"You are little arrogant..." Essence Devil.
"What about you... You are more arrogant than this moron" Toxin.
"Shut up... Want me to beat the **** out of you" Yamado.
A moment of Silence fills the air...
The air gets heavier...
Their breathing hardens...
"Why can't... My breathing is slowly down..." Haru.
"It's because you are in my Terrain... You can't survive here for long" Essence Devil.
Three of them breathing heavily...
"This the end of you all... Little lives" Essence Devil...
Haru slowly closing his eyes...
"No... No... Shimi and others need me... I can't lose now" Haru...
Toxin slaps both Haru's and Yamado's head...
"Are you two losing you consciousnes... Don't make me laugh... You both survived Toxin Cave... ( Referrs to Chapter 24 Toxin Cave (END) )" Toxin.
This motivates them to survive the Terrain...
"My Toxins where way impossible to survive... This is just a peice of a cake for you two and me" Toxin.
Those words hit hard...
Haru remembers the incident...
Yamado remembers he survived it without having any powerful Devil contract like Haru not Poison adaptability like Toxin.
They all are determined...
They all use their move...
Crimson Fists!..
Haru.
"Metal Amplification sword!..
Yamado.
Toxin uses a simple toxin.
The TERRAIN overloads...
Especially due to Crimson Fists because that is if Crimson Devil...
They three burts out of the Terrain...
But all are hit by...
Essence Beam!.
Essence Devil.
They all falls on their knees...
All closed their eyes...
Their body is motionless...
"I see... That was toouch for you" Essence Devil.
Fight vs Root Devil.
"I can't die now... Let me try this" Regi.
Regi touches a root...
He bursts the Terrain.
"But... How is this possible?" Root Devil.
Regi picks up his Sword...
"It's because your Devil flow and mine can't be kept together" Regi.
(Note: Two different Devil flow reflect each other, this appy with Devils who have weaker Terrain. Moves don't apply. Haru's Crimson Fists worked because Crimson Devil was another Apocalypse Devil).
Regi loses his balance...
He was exhausted...
"It's like your game is over" Root Devil.
Fight vs Essence Devil...
"These kids are not joke... Wonder they are your students" Essence Devil.
He looks at Adryn...
"Why are you just standing there... You terrified of me... The strongest Exorcist of This generation" Essence Devil.
Adryn was just standing there the entire time...
His eyes remaind closed the whole time.
He was thinking of Kaito.
The man who sacrificed himself for his sake.
Adryn finally opens his eyes...
He sees his students body lying motionless...
He remembers the body of Kaito after seeing their bodies...
His anger finally Bursts out...
"You... Devil!... First my friends now my students... I won't let you get away with this" Adryn.
"Enough talking.... Let's just get this over with" Essence Devil.
Adryn keeps his fighting stands...
