But it wasn't going to be easy.

The carnival was now much bigger than which it used to be. Many people participated now.
Most of all the Killings of The Essence Devil grew more.
Human eminities where improved.
People had proper jobs and all.

I was surviving somehow because some people bought me everything i need.
I don't know who they were but they helped me.
One day I asked them "Who are you all"
They replied with "it's not time yet".
I didn't knew what they were talking about but I knew that they were suspicious people's.
Then the Carnival happened, for notice this was the First Carnival Regi was participating in...
(Regi came to this town after he heared the news some people died during the Carnival and another Exorcists Scout was missing after he went to scout the area, Regi heared this new from Trian).
I was participating in the carnival too.
I saw every kind sof people.
They were from different parts of the country.
They all wore kimonos.
They all were happy.
Expect me.
I was still disturbed.
My brother gave a speech.
I witnessed what the Carnival actually was that day.
It was not normal...
Every people were praying to that tree as if it was their God.
I didn't pray. I moved from their.
That's the first time I saw Regi with Riya.
He said that he didn't like the praying part.
We moved out of their.
"What is this prayer, just begin the Fun" Regi yelling.
He looked like me but an alternate version.
I would have been like him if I was not living under a life of Regret.
I decided to go away from Regi before he asks me toouch question.
I left Regi alone.
I was walking alone in the rain.
Something was shinning behind me.
I turned around.
I was shocked.
It was that tree.
I was amazed by the sight of it.
It never had happened before until Kanako took up the Mayorship of the town.
I was happy for him and restarted my walk.
But then saw it...
People were killed by something...
I looked closer...
It was a root feasting on them.
There were only 5-6 people.
I then realised that the tree was glowing because it was slowly absorbing the life force of humans to make it its own to glow.
I was stunned again by the sight.
But I wanted to change from my coward self.
I was determined.
Those people reminded me of My Mom and My Friends.
I started beating that root.
It started to attack me.
But I still attacked it even though I was hurt.
That when the tree stopped glowing.
The roots retreated.
People had died already.
I wanted to report this.
But when I turned around I saw that everyone was behind me.
The declared me maniac, a psychopath and a low life.
I was going to get beaten up until Regi stepped in.
"Stop it you all, listen to this I saw what happened here" Regi screamed.
Regi explained that a devil was feasting on them and I helped them.
People agreed and went back to pray.
I was taken away by Regi, he was praising my guts.
But before iknew it the roots returned and started feasting again on those people.
Police came to investigate the body but the body was long gone.
The next night while I was sleeping in an alley those weird guys who gave me resources to survive came to me.
Guy 1 " Hey wake up old man"
Kamiko "what's the matter" in a scared voice.
Guy 2 "It's time for you".
They forcefully took me.
And the I realised ahonwas behind this all.
My Little Brother Kanako.
"Huh what's this brother" Kamiko.
"It's me you" Kanako.
I was shocked. Tears filled up in my eyes and was not able to speak up to him.
"What can't you speak up. This is why our Mom was abused by this 4 thugs remember" Kanako.
I was losing my mind...
"People betrays them who loved them very much" Kanako.
I was shocked when I hear these words from him.
"Mom loved you more than me you know it and you let her suffer" Kanako.
I finally gathered courage to speak up...
"I helped her in her suffering" Kamiko.
"No" Kanako boldly.
"I ended her suffering, I killed her when you were out" Kanako.
I now knew the truth.
He killed my mother not because to end her suffering but because he hated her.
It's because she loved me more than him. And I then betrayed her by not speaking up to those thugs.
He got the impression of people who are loved are unworthy of trust and all.
"You know I didn't love you from the moment I entered in this town, I wanted power and you came in my way" Kanako.
I was lost mentally but he said another words which still echoes in my mind
"I killed your precious friends who were with you for many years it's because they were in my way" Kanako.
I knew he was gone out of my hands...
"I can't kill you because I won't allow you to die so easily and younahve to suffer through all those things which I did while I was taken away by those Thugs. I won't tell you how i escaped" Kanako.
"I will help you not because of love but you will not tell these to anyone and leave in a corner of this town without interacting to anyone, I will give you money to live for you lifetime" Kanako.
"Kanako you have turned into a monster" Kamiko with fear his voice was breaking.
Kamiko saw a devil inside Kanako.

He laughs in evil way....
Back to the present...
"That's it, then I lived outside of the house wearing mask then Regi spotted me and we became friends because I helped him with my money to send Riya to School and him buying a new house. All because he helped me from those false allegation" Kamiko.
"That's long story with a lots of key points" Adryn.
"So the Killings are active when the tree glows right?" Regi.
"Thanks sir" Adryn.
"No need" Kamiko.
Adryn and Regi gets up to leave the house but is stopped by Kamiko to inform them one more thing.
"Observe your surroundings and don't let the tree glow. Glowing means trouble and the Killings are increasing year by year" Kamiko.
"Hey we want your help sir" Adryn.
"Huh mine?" Kamiko.
"After we capture the Devil ...." Adryn.
"Okay got it I will do my job" Kamiko smiles.
Adryn and Regi leaves.
Adryn and Regi in their way looks at the tree.
"It's finally going to begin huh? Adryn.
Number of dark clouds began to increase over the Denjiyon Town. Every raindrop over the tree was absorbed by it. A strange man is standing infront the tree who smiles.
Strange Man "it's finally your time for your mass awakening".
He smiles....
