Chapter 332 - Chapter 332: There’s Always Room for One More

Jovian wandered through countless worlds, meeting countless people along the way.

In the One-Punch Man world...

Knock, knock, knock.

Standing before a familiar apartment, Jovian gently knocked on the door.

"One moment..."

A few seconds later, the door opened, revealing Genos.

"You're back?!"

Genos froze for a moment when he saw Jovian outside, then immediately opened the door all the way to let him inside.

"Master Saitama, Jovian is here!"

Genos turned toward Saitama, who was lying on the floor watching television.

"Huh?"

Saitama turned around.

"Oh! It's you, Jovian..."

A hint of surprise flashed across Saitama's face before he greeted him.

"It's been a long time."

"Though I see this apartment hasn't changed at all. It's still tiny!"

Jovian walked inside, greeted Saitama, and looked around.

"That's pretty rude, you know..."

"Besides, I've gotten attached to this place. Moving somewhere else would just feel weird."

A few beads of sweat appeared on Saitama's forehead as he explained himself.

"Whatever."

"I brought some beef. Want to have some?"

Jovian walked over and set the beef he'd bought in front of Saitama.

"Food..."

Saitama stared at the beef, his eyes immediately lighting up.

"Yeah, I'm eating that..."

"This is great!"

The moment Saitama got a good look at the beef Jovian had brought, his appetite exploded.

"Genos, hurry up and get the sukiyaki ready!"

Saitama immediately urged Genos into action.

"Yes, Master Saitama!"

At Saitama's command, Genos immediately began preparing everything for the beef sukiyaki.

A few minutes later...

Bubble, bubble...

Steam rose from the simmering pot as everyone prepared to eat and chat.

Ding-dong!

Just as Saitama was about to reach for the beef with his chopsticks, the doorbell suddenly rang.

"Huh?"

Confused, Saitama stood up and went to answer it.

"Oh, Saitama. Sorry to bother you. I came to pick up the game I left here..."

Standing outside was a man with long blond hair and several scars across his face.

"Oh, King!"

Saitama recognized him after a moment.

"Want to eat with us?"

He casually invited King inside.

"You're having dinner?! Whoa, sukiyaki! Don't mind if I do..."

King followed Saitama inside. The moment he saw Genos and Jovian eating sukiyaki, his eyes lit up and he immediately joined them.

"Whew..."

"Come on, eat the meat while it's still tender!"

Saitama sat back down, picked up his bowl and chopsticks, and prepared to eat as much as possible while the beef was at its best.

Ding-dong!

Just as Saitama stuffed a piece of beef into his mouth, the doorbell rang again.

"Uh..."

Everyone froze.

Their eyes shifted from one person to another as they silently considered who should go answer the door.

"Master Saitama, I'll get it!"

Genos put down his bowl and chopsticks, walked over to the entrance, and opened the door.

"What took you so long?!"

Speed-o'-Sound Sonic stood outside.

Five minutes later...

"So why are you eating with us too?!"

Saitama stared at Sonic, annoyed that there was now another mouth to feed.

"Seeing you happily eating makes me furious!"

"So I'm going to steal all your meat!"

"With speed that surpasses sound itself..."

Sonic gave Saitama an evil grin.

"We actually have plenty more beef."

Jovian snapped his fingers, and several more bags of beef instantly appeared around them.

"Sorry you had to spend so much..."

Saitama looked at bag after bag of beef before turning toward Jovian.

"It's fine."

Jovian smiled.

Money had stopped meaning anything to him a long time ago.

Ding-dong!

At that moment, the doorbell rang yet again.

"Ah..."

Saitama's eyes twitched when he heard it.

"Nobody ever visits me normally! What the hell is happening today?!"

He glared furiously at the door.

"I'll check."

Jovian put down his bowl and chopsticks, walked over, and opened the door.

"What took you so long?!"

Floating outside was a petite green-haired girl in a dress, her hair curling around her head almost like octopus tentacles. She was glaring furiously at Jovian.

"Sorry for dropping by."

Beside her stood a beautiful, curvaceous young woman who quietly greeted Jovian.

"Tatsumaki and Fubuki? Come on in."

Jovian thought for a moment before stepping aside.

"Why are there so many people here?!"

"And why is that bald guy here too?! What rotten luck!"

Tatsumaki walked inside, saw everyone gathered around the sukiyaki, and immediately complained.

"Hey, hey, hey! Do you even hear yourself?! This is my apartment!"

Saitama protested indignantly.

"Sorry. My sister is just like this. She has a terrible way of talking to people!"

Fubuki apologized on her sister's behalf.

"It's fine."

"We understand."

Jovian walked over and patted Fubuki on the shoulder, signaling that everyone was already more than familiar with Tatsumaki's arrogant personality.

"Hmph!"

Tatsumaki snorted, clearly dissatisfied with Jovian's attitude toward her.

"Anyway, come eat with us. There's plenty of meat."

Jovian brought Tatsumaki and Fubuki over to the table.

"Tatsumaki..."

King looked at Tatsumaki and immediately felt exhausted.

He had to admit that the girl scared him a little.

"Huh?! What about me? Got a problem?!"

Tatsumaki immediately glared at King.

"Uh... No..."

King shook his head as cold sweat trickled down from his hairline.

"Surely nobody else is coming now, right?"

Saitama looked around his suddenly crowded apartment and sighed helplessly.

Originally, there had only been him and Genos.

Then, in the blink of an eye, five more people had shown up!

Jovian was understandable. He had come specifically to bring him beef.

King had only come to retrieve something that belonged to him.

But Sonic, Tatsumaki, and Fubuki?

What were they doing here?

Saitama certainly hadn't invited them.

Feeling increasingly speechless, Saitama decided to forget about it and eat a few more pieces of beef.

Ding-dong!

The instant Saitama swallowed the meat, the doorbell rang yet again.

Everyone in the room fell silent.

"Don't tell me they're going to make me answer it again..."

Saitama silently thought.

"I could go, but Tatsumaki won't let me get up..."

Jovian, who could read minds, silently answered Saitama's thoughts.

"This is getting awkward..."

King was very good at reading the room.

"Then I'll..."

Genos started to stand up and head toward the door.

"No, no, no! Genos already answered it once. Someone who hasn't gone yet should do it. If we're taking turns, Sonic is next!"

Saitama stopped Genos and looked at Speed-o'-Sound Sonic.

"Hmph! I'm not going!"

Sonic declared arrogantly.

"Hey! How can you say that like you're somehow in the right?!"

Saitama stared at Sonic in complete confusion.

"Isn't it obvious? I came here specifically to cause trouble!"

Sonic gave Saitama a smug grin.

That was right.

He, Speed-o'-Sound Sonic, had come here to cause trouble.

Why would he cooperate with Saitama?

"Someone still has to answer the door."

Jovian spoke up.

"Exactly, which is why Sonic should do it!"

Saitama replied.

"I can go."

King started standing up.

"No, no. Sonic has to go this time!"

Saitama stubbornly insisted.

"I'm not going! I came here specifically to annoy you, Saitama!"

"Are you angry yet, Saitama?!"

Sonic stared at him expectantly.

"Nope."

"You're just kind of annoying, like a mosquito."

Saitama answered calmly.

"You compared me to a mosquito?! Damn you..."

Sonic immediately became furious.

"Take this!"

Sonic reached into Saitama's bowl with his chopsticks, stole a piece of beef, and ate it in one bite.

"Hahaha! Are you angry now, Saitama?!"

Sonic stared triumphantly at him.

"Nope."

Saitama remained completely calm.

Jovian had brought so much beef that there was no possible way they could finish all of it.

"Damn it..."

Seeing Saitama remain completely unbothered only made Sonic even angrier.

"Why do you deliberately create problems for yourself? I don't understand..."

Genos analyzed Sonic's behavior for a moment before shaking his head.

"What do you mean, I'm creating problems for myself?!"

"I'm trying to defeat my problem! And there is no problem in this world more frustrating than my inability to defeat Saitama!"

Sonic snorted coldly.

As far as he was concerned, Saitama, the man responsible for his most humiliating defeat, was his greatest enemy.

"That's exactly my point! Trying to defeat the invincible Master Saitama is the very definition of creating problems for yourself!"

Genos simply couldn't understand Sonic's obsession with defeating Saitama.

His Master Saitama was invincible.

"Enough talking."

Sonic couldn't be bothered arguing with Genos anymore.

His eyes locked firmly onto Saitama.

"Saitama! Fight me!"

Sonic shouted.

"No."

"I refuse."

Saitama continued stuffing himself with beef.

As far as he was concerned, eating good meat was far more important than winning or losing some pointless fight.

"Damn you! If you love this beef so much, then I'll just..."

Sonic turned his attention toward the sukiyaki pot, apparently preparing to destroy it.

"If you touch that pot, I'll kill you."

Sonic suddenly felt Jovian's murderous gaze lock onto him.

"Uh..."

Sonic immediately shut his mouth.

He could tell.

Jovian was completely serious.

"Anyway, go answer the door already."

Saitama urged Sonic again.

"Nope, nope, nope. Not going."

Sonic stuck his tongue out at Saitama.

"..."

Jovian stared speechlessly at Sonic as the whole scene started resembling some ridiculous lovers' spat.

What was this supposed to be?

Some trashy romance drama about Saitama as the domineering billionaire and Sonic as his feisty little wife?!

"Damn Sonic. How dare he talk to Master Saitama like that..."

Genos was barely restraining himself, afraid that if he lost his temper, he might turn Sonic into tonight's sukiyaki.

"Oh, so the plot gets even better! Genos is Saitama's wife, while Sonic is the mistress. Now the jealous wife is furious and wants to eliminate the home-wrecker..."

Jovian watched Saitama, Genos, and Sonic with the expression of someone enjoying premium reality-TV drama.

Ding-dong!

Ding-dong! Ding-dong! Ding-dong!

Bam! Bam! Bam! Bang, bang, bang!

Meanwhile, whoever was outside had clearly lost patience and started pounding on the door.

"Will one of you just answer the damn door already?!"

The constant ringing was starting to irritate Tatsumaki.

She glared at Saitama and the others.

"I already went."

Saitama replied.

"I went too. It's Sonic's turn."

Genos not only pointed out that he had already answered the door, but once again emphasized that Sonic was next.

"Then go!"

Tatsumaki glared at Sonic.

"I'm not going. I'm here specifically to cause trouble."

Sonic answered Tatsumaki with a completely serious expression.

"Huh?! If you're here to cause trouble, then get the hell out! Stop eating our food!"

Tatsumaki frowned.

Her psychokinesis instantly enveloped Sonic, lifted him into the air, and hurled him straight through the window.

"Ah..."

Saitama and the others stared with slightly open mouths as Sonic disappeared outside.

"Who's answering the door next?"

After tossing Sonic out of the apartment, Tatsumaki turned toward Saitama.

"My turn."

King finally stood up and walked toward the entrance.

In reality, he had deliberately kept quiet this whole time.

If they were truly taking turns, he should have gone immediately after Jovian.

Apparently, everyone had simply forgotten about him.

Click.

King opened the door and looked at the people outside.

An elderly man stood there with two younger men.

One of the younger men looked unbelievably cocky, while the other seemed nervous and timid. Their personalities couldn't have been more different.

"Oh, King."

The old man stood with his hands behind his back and greeted King.

"Bang! And that's Garou and Charanko!"

King was apparently familiar with Bang's two companions as well.

And so...

"Why are there three more mouths to feed?!"

Saitama was finally starting to lose his patience.

"What was I supposed to do, Saitama?! Garou's stare is terrifying!"

King looked at Saitama as though he were about to cry.

"Saitama, you beat me last time..."

"This time, I'm getting my win back!"

From the moment Garou entered the apartment, his eyes remained firmly locked onto Saitama.

"Not interested."

Saitama shook his head.

He had absolutely no interest in fighting Garou.

"Anyway, let's eat first."

Jovian picked up a tender piece of beef with his chopsticks and placed it directly into Tatsumaki's mouth.

"Mmm, so tender~"

Tatsumaki cupped her cheeks, looking utterly delighted.

"Those two need to take their flirting somewhere else..."

"They're ruining the beef for everyone!"

Everyone else screamed internally.
