Akira saw that he had gathered over 7,000 zombies, and was only 3,000 short of leveling up.

Akira decided to discuss their next plans with Saeko.

After the last attack by the Viper Gang on him and Saya group,They had made a promise, the content of which was to eliminate the Viper Gang together.

And to quickly restore stability in the city, in order to gather sufficient resources and influence, so they could become the largest group in the city.

And once they became the largest group in the city, they could act more freely and effectively.

Of course, they hoped to save as many survivors as possible.

After all, for the future of humanity in their city, they needed to do this.

Inside the tactical vehicle, Akira and Saeko, having finished their business in the industrial area, decided to return to their basecamp immediately.

This was because the commotion they had caused seemed to have aroused the curiosity of people they didn't want to see.

So they decided to leave the industrial area temporarily and leave the area in peace for a while.

"How about it? Has Saya contacted us yet?" Akira asked Saeko as he drove.

"Not yet. I think she'll contact us tonight. Judging by the progress I've made so far, they seem to have found a good breakthrough," Saeko replied.

"Oh...it seems they've moved quickly. After searching the port area, they got quite good results," Akira praised.

"It's thanks to you,l dear. With the help of some of the clues you provided, they finally managed to find something good.

And of course, this also helps with our current mission. I just hope the city where I live and was born will recover soon, or at least return to the hands of those truly responsible," Saeko said in a hopeful tone.

"It will surely happen soon. Don't worry, what we need to do now is take firm steps and not rush.

After all, safety is the most important factor." Understanding Saeko's concerns, Akira gave a reassuring answer.

"Um, we can only do what we can," Saeko replied in agreement.

And indeed, as Saeko had explained, the city they were in held many memories for the protagonists of the story.

Who would want to see the city where they were born and lived turned into a terrifying place filled with tragedy?

If they had the ability, they would certainly try to restore the city to its former glory, where peace reigned.

Unfortunately, their hopes were far from easy to achieve in times like these, when the world order had almost completely collapsed.

And humanity had reverted to the law of the jungle, where the strong ruled and survived, and the weak were left with only surrender or be devoured.

Akira was naturally aware of this, and fortunately, he possessed the ability to restore the city to its former glory, though it would certainly have its drawbacks.

But he wouldn't be overly concerned. The Takagi family had taken over the entire city, and with the personalities and traits they had displayed thus far, Akira knew they were quite good candidates for city leadership.

"So, what about my father-in-law? Has there been any news?" Akira asked, changing the question.

Hearing Akira's new question, Saeko subconsciously remembered her father.

Unfortunately, due to current events, the full extent of Saeko's father's condition was unknown.

This could have happened because Saeko's father was overseas during the zombie outbreak in the city, attending a world martial arts convention.

This ultimately left Saeko alone in the city.

"I don't know where Dad is right now, I just hope he's safe, and with his abilities, he should be able to survive," Saeko said, her tone slightly sad but also filled with confidence.

"Given the abilities you've displayed so far, I think your father must be much more formidable than you." There are many people.

And with the knowledge and experience he possesses, he can certainly survive unless something extraordinary happens. And if we have the chance, I'll take you to find your father." Akira, aware of Saeko's sadness, made a promise to her.

"Is that right? We'll look for a father?" With a shocked and hopeful expression, Saeko asked Akira back.

"Yes, if we have the chance, let's do it. After all, your father is one of the closest people you have, and if that important person means so much to you, then that's also something important that I should cherish and protect." Akira gave Saeko a sweet answer.

Although deep down, he also urged himself to fulfill his promise, he also understood the feeling of losing someone close to them.

And he could tell that it wasn't something that could be expressed in words; it could only be felt by those who had experienced it.

So, if he had to choose, of course he would help find Saeko's father.

"Thank you, dear," Saeko replied, her eyes moved by Akira's promise.

Although she knew it was very difficult to achieve, as long as there was hope, she would certainly fight for it.

"Since we've decided to find my father-in-law in the future, now we need to find more zombies and gather them Into my space.

To increase my power. With the increased power of my space, our chances of finding my father-in-law will increase." Akira then encouraged Saeko again.

"Yes, we will collect more zombies and complete our objectives one by one," Saeko replied enthusiastically.

"Good, then let's hunt again tonight." Akira, hearing Saeko's enthusiastic tone, was pleased and immediately decided to take action.

"Okay," Saeko replied.
