(Mira's POV)
I sat in the back of daddy's car and hummed as the driver drove like a maniac.
Exactly how I had told him to.
I was late and didn't want Daniel to start spewing nonsense out of his dirty gutter of a mouth.
"We are here, Ma'am." The driver said, suddenly coming to a halt.
"Good. Wait in the car and turn a blind eye to whatever I do here if you wanna live to see another day. You'll take me to Mr Blackwood's house once I'm done with my appointment here. Do we understand each other?" I finished sternly.
He nodded immediately. Fear in his eyes as bright as the sun and it rubbed all over me. I loved to make people cower.
"Good." I patted his head and walked away.
At the door, I made sure to look around so as to avoid meeting anybody I knew or anyone who might recognize me.
Nobody. Good.
Now where was that bastard brother of mine?
My phone beeped in my hand and I checked. A text message.
Keep walking straight, Mimi. I can see you.
Daniel.
