(Third Person's POV)
Detective Rosalyn could not believe her ears.
"What did you say?" She asked the housekeeper, not because she didn't hear her the first time, but because she wanted to make sure her recorder caught her statement.
Sophie wasn't backing down. "I said, that Mr Damian Blackwood had ordered me to burn the studio and steal the painting." She repeated.
The detective just sat like a statue and stared at this woman in front of her.
Why?
"But he fixed the studio for her and did everything there, all with his money, no?" She asked.
"Yes."
"So why would he go all that length to destroy what he had built?"
The housekeeper shrugged, "beats me."
Hmm
Detective Lyn knew something wasn't acting up but she was itching for an arrest.
"So, why did he arrest you if you both were in it together?" She asked Sophie.
