Chapter 2 - Dragon Ball Universe: Namek Awakens

The portal spat you out onto a strange, alien world. Namek. The air was crisp, tinged with a metallic scent that made your nose wrinkle slightly. The ground beneath your boots hummed faintly, almost like it was alive — attuned to your energy. Golden light flickered around you, your Legendary Super Saiyan aura sparking in waves, and for the first time since your accident, you felt truly alive.

From a distance, three figures approached, and even without seeing their faces clearly, your body recognized the energy signatures. Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan. Legends of combat in this universe, and the first allies you would need.

Goku grinned like a kid spotting candy. "Hey! That energy… it's huge! You're not from around here, are you?"

Vegeta, of course, didn't bother smiling. "Hmph. Showing off your energy like that on my turf? Either you're extremely brave… or extremely stupid." His scowl was sharp, but you caught the tiniest spark of curiosity in his eyes.

Gohan, quiet as always, studied you. His gaze was precise, almost uncomfortable in how penetrating it felt. "I… don't know if I like this," he muttered. "But I can see you have potential."

You raised your hands slowly, letting the aura spread, crackling through the air like electricity. "I didn't come here to fight. I'm here because a threat is coming — one that could destroy countless universes. I need warriors who can help stop it."

Goku tilted his head, ever curious, eyes sparkling. "Destroy… everything? Sounds fun! But, uh… you might want to eat something first. You don't look like you've had breakfast."

Vegeta snorted. "Focus, Kakarot!"

You laughed. Somehow, you liked these idiots. They were humans in spirit, despite their insane powers. You needed allies like them — strong, resilient, and unpredictable.

The first sparring session started immediately. You tested them carefully — small movements first, gauging reactions, timing, and strength. Then you pushed harder, letting your full Legendary Saiyan energy flow.

Goku matched you effortlessly, moving like the wind, grinning through every dodge and counter. "Whoa! You're fast!" he shouted mid-flight.

Vegeta struck like lightning, precise and lethal, forcing you to adapt constantly. "Hmph. You'll need more than speed to hit me!"

Gohan's movements were calm and measured. He dodged and countered strategically, forcing you to think in ways you hadn't before.

Every clash of energy sent shockwaves across Namek, shattering rocks, bending air, and igniting small fires where light and force collided. The ground itself seemed to vibrate with every movement, almost cheering and trembling at the battle unfolding.

Hours passed, or maybe days — time didn't exist here the way it did in the regular universe. Your pocket dimension, created with your new magic, slowed or accelerated time at will, letting you train without aging, pushing your limits far beyond natural human endurance.

"Not bad," Goku said, landing heavily. Sweat dripped down his forehead, but he looked exhilarated. "You've got potential. This… this is fun!"

Vegeta, wiping blood from a cut on his lip, grunted. "You've got guts… I'll give you that. But don't think I'm impressed yet."

Gohan smiled faintly. "I… I can see myself learning a lot from you."

You felt it too — the subtle bonding of warriors who recognized each other's strength. And yet, beneath the adrenaline and laughter, a cold shadow touched the edge of your awareness.

A ripple in the sky. Subtle, almost invisible, but unmistakable. Something outside this universe had sensed the surge of energy.

"Do you feel that?" you asked, aura flaring slightly, tension creeping into your chest.

Goku's grin faltered a little. "Yeah… doesn't feel… right."

Vegeta's smirk sharpened. "Finally… a real challenge."

Your heart hammered in your chest. Fear? Maybe a little. Excitement? Definitely. This was what you were made for.

"Whatever comes," you said quietly, almost to yourself, "we'll face it… together."

Night fell over Namek, painting the sky in crimson and gold. And then, above the horizon, the portal pulsed violently. A presence stepped through — massive, alien, incomprehensible energy, unlike anything this universe had ever seen.

You clenched your fists, golden aura blazing higher, feeling the familiar thrill of battle. This was no minor enemy. This was the first sign of Oblivion Nexus Prime, the entity threatening all realities.

Goku's expression shifted from excitement to cautious anticipation. "Looks like we've got company."

Vegeta's scowl deepened. "Good. About time."

Gohan's calmness remained, but his eyes burned with determination. "We'll be ready," he said.

And as you looked at them — your first team, your first allies — you realized something important: strength alone isn't enough. Strategy, trust, teamwork… and heart. Without it, even the strongest energy would fail.

The portal pulsed again, a shadow looming over Namek. Something immense was coming. Something that could challenge even the combined might of these heroes.

Your mind sharpened. You felt it in your chest, your fists, your aura: this was just the beginning.

And for the first time since dying, you smiled.

A shadowy figure steps through the portal, its energy warping reality itself. The battle for the multiverse has officially begun.
