"Hey! Young man, even though you're dressed a bit strangely, don't get too close to this big guy. Otherwise, we can't guarantee you won't get hurt."
As they got closer and closer to the giant monster, the brother, who obviously didn't know his sister's clone had changed its appearance, was currently piloting his suit beside Itachi and offering 'kind advice.' In truth, he didn't want this unknown 'young man' to steal his spotlight; otherwise, how could he brag about his greatness to his sister later? Ultimately, Tony wanted to prove to Artoria that her brother already had the strength to protect her.
He just didn't expect to encounter such a 'weird' monster, which left him a bit confused about how to deal with it. But clearly, this kid seemed to want to intercept the kill. Hmm! So he came to this kid's side to give a proper reminder that there were still capable fighters here!
"Oh? Can you solve it? It's been so long."
Artoria knew exactly what kind of person this cheap brother of hers was. Even as a clone, she knew how to deal with him. Her light words carried no emotion, but to Tony's ears, they were like a steel spear piercing his heart, poking exactly where it hurt. Tony felt like not only were his lungs about to burst from anger, but even his stomach was starting to ache. But this tone, this attitude, this feeling—it was exactly like his sister. It was truly strange.
"I say, you..."
"Go stay wherever it's cool! You can't beat it anyway. If this continues, although there have been no casualties, significant economic damage has already been caused. If you let this go on, what excuse will you have to call yourself Iron Man?"
Tony had many flaws—he was arrogant, narcissistic, and sometimes unreasonable—but regardless, his desire to save people was genuine. Hearing Itachi say this, Tony immediately left and stopped talking beside Itachi.
"Got scolded, Tony?"
Natasha saw Tony landing on the ground dejectedly to help her and teased him with a smile. She had heard the conversation between Tony and the 'mysterious man' clearly from below. This playboy, who usually made everyone roll their eyes, had finally stumbled over a'stranger.' It really made her want to smile. It was clear just how unpopular Tony usually was and how foul-mouthed he could be.
Without answering Natasha, Tony rolled his eyes helplessly. Unfortunately, Natasha couldn't see it, or she would have been very happy. Usually, they all suffered from Tony's foul mouth; seeing him get shut down now was a happy occasion.
"The nuisances are gone, so it's time to start."
"Susanoo,"
Quietly watching the monster temporarily frozen by Reed with liquid nitrogen, and sensing that no one else was around, Itachi's Mangekyo Sharingan began to spin wildly. A giant orange-red humanoid skeleton enveloped Itachi.
"What on earth is that? A devil?"
Almost everyone looked on in shock at the orange-red skeleton gradually taking shape around Itachi. Its appearance was truly terrifying, leading those who believed in God to think Itachi had summoned a devil. But Itachi had no intention of catering to others' worldviews. His ocular power poured out wildly as 'muscles' and armor covered the skeleton, forming a massive semi-humanoid giant.
"Roar!"
The big monster, sensing something was wrong, seemed to go into a frenzy, attacking the 'giant' madly.
"Move aside!"
With the idea of giving it a try, Itachi did not release the Totsuka Blade at first. The orange-red giant Susanoo raised its left hand, and a mirror-like object appeared in its grasp. With a swing of the left hand, it instantly knocked away the monster that came running. When that massive force collided, the surrounding buildings began to crack.
"Strong indeed, this level of power is still within the controllable range. I can't waste any more time; I can't maintain this state for too long."
Looking at the monster that was knocked away and feeling the depletion of Chakra within his body, Itachi muttered to himself with excitement in his voice. Soon, the knocked-away monster grew another size larger. It seemed Itachi's physical attack just now was completely ineffective and had instead made it stronger. However, it seemed to be provoked; it scrambled up in rage and attacked Itachi once more.
"Thank you for serving as the standard for measuring my capacity. Now, I shall give you a quick end."
As that massive body lunged toward him, Itachi wasn't flustered at all. His ocular power poured out wildly as before. An orange-red long sword appeared in Susanoo's right hand, and he quickly slashed it toward the giant monster. A hint of mockery flashed in the monster's beast-like pupils; how could this thing be effective against it? After being knocked away just now, it seemed to have decided this 'giant' was nothing special. But was that really the case?
The sharp twenty-meter-long sword easily pierced the giant monster's body without any resistance. The giant monster was shocked to find that it could no longer move. More terrifyingly, parts of its body began to melt away, being absorbed into that strange long sword. It wanted to roar, it wanted to retreat, but it could no longer move even half a step.
"My choice was not wrong, but what a strange power. Truly a miraculous kid."
Nick hadn't held much hope originally, but he didn't expect Itachi to give him such a surprise by actually taking down that giant monster. It was truly impressive. However, Nick felt that this 'Mr. Akatsuki' hadn't used his full power yet. Nick's heart finally settled down.
"Who is he? This kind of power is truly incredible."
The panting Captain was already quite tired; these small monsters were simply too numerous.
"It's a bit strange! The leader of these small monsters is already dead, so why haven't they retreated? This doesn't fit the mechanism of species survival."
Compared to the people who breathed a sigh of relief, Reed and Tony noticed the same thing. The small monsters seemed to be continuing their attack. Shouldn't these guys start retreating and select a new leader? Why were they still acting as they did at the beginning, with no intention of leaving the battlefield?
"Kisame, let's go."
After obtaining a shimmering golden box, Itachi quickly arrived at Kisame's side and said those words. Kisame did not hesitate and followed Itachi, moving quickly to leave Manhattan.
"What's going on? Did I celebrate too early?"
Watching the 'two's' actions, Nick became even more confused. Shouldn't they stay behind to ask for their reward? Why were they leaving so quickly? What exactly happened? In an instant, Nick's heart, which had just relaxed, tightened again.
Inside the large hole the big monster crawled out of, small monsters were still frantically crawling out. However, this time seemed a bit different. It was as if some other behemoth was about to emerge from underground. This was the reason Itachi left quickly; his perception had just detected an unfathomable presence. He could completely feel the opponent's strength, and it was still growing. The remaining Chakra in the two clones was low, so they had to retreat quickly; otherwise, it would be hard to predict what might happen next.
"Will this ever end? What on earth happened to this world?"
In the next moment, Nick's eyes nearly popped out. He completely couldn't understand what he was seeing. What on earth was that?
