Third person point of view
Christian went to his parents house. The cards were already delivered. He didn't have that many people to invite, only a few doctors and other staff of his department and the direct superior. All others would get it from his parents' side. He took the cards with him and went back to his house.
He sat on the couch and put the cards on the coffee table. He remembered telling Oliver that they would stay here together after getting married. He answered in a haste because it would not look good if he gave a negative answer. So he needed to have a talk with Oliver about it. He sighed and called Oliver.
Oliver was busy in his room, sorting the cards. He saw the name and wondered if something was up. " Hello ". " Hey ". " Actually I wanted to talk about you moving in ". Oliver was flustered. " Ah, oh, what about it ? " " I just made the decision like that without asking your opinion. It also never came up between us. So what do you want to do ? "
Oliver complained in his heart. This guy was too good of a human. No, maybe he is an angel. He sighed heavily in his heart. " Honestly I never thought of it. But I really don't mind what you said. I really like your house. I said that when I visited too. So I am absolutely fine with this. Like you said it is also nearer than my current house. So I couldn't be happier ".
Christian let out the breath he was holding. " That's good then. I was a little worried ". " You think too much ". Christian chuckled. " Would you like to come visit once again ? You can see if you want to change anything. I will try to get it done before the wedding ". " No, no. I am happy with the invite but there is really nothing to change. I like it the way it is ". " Alright ".
" Just make some space for my things. Other things are all fine ". " Okay ". " I will move my things at the end of the month. There is not much time left after then ". " Alright ". Oliver fell back on the bed. " What are you doing ? " " I just came back home with the cards ". " Same actually. But I am still here and sorting them out ". They chatted for a while and hung up.
Christian went to his room and looked around. There were some cabinets on the side which were empty. He walked to the wardrobe. His clothes were all over the place. He decided to sort them out and pulled his sleeves up. He started putting them all back in their places and then started making space.
He arranged everything neatly. Now almost half of it was empty after he sorted it out. If Oliver wanted he could also put them in the other room. He also decided to call the cleaners to give the whole house a nice clean. By the time he was done, the sun had already set. He had sweat from all the work and went to take a shower first.
He then called the person who always did the cleaning and made an appointment. It would be better to get it done before Oliver moved his things. So he chose a day before that. He ordered food for dinner and finally sat down in peace. He let out a sigh and picked up the cards. He also sorted them out and put them in his bag.
The next day, Christian gave them to his colleagues who were all flabbergasted. They couldn't digest it at all. " How come you were dating so silently behind our backs ? " Christian just laughed lightly. They all joked and laughed and agreed to attend for sure. Oliver also gave them to his friends and the staff at the cafe and restaurant.
" Is it that tall and handsome guy who comes here for you ? " One of them asked and Oliver nodded. " No wonder ". They all teased him. Oliver chuckled. " Let's close for that day. And if I have any other plans I will extend the holiday. All of you can also take a break ". " Our boss is the best ! " They all laughed.
" Alright, you need to work now. Go, go ". They all groaned and grunted, making Oliver laugh. He shook his head and got back to work. Oliver sat down for lunch when his phone vibrated. He smiled and replied to the Christian's messages. Christian also seemed to take the initiative in texting him.
They chatted a little more than before and Oliver liked this improvement. He was happy. He was done with his lunch when he got a call from Robin asking them to come try the suits. He agreed and called Christian. " Hello ". " Hey. Robin asked us to visit to try on the suits tomorrow ". " Alright. What time ? "
" He said it is up to us ". " Then what time do you want to go ? " " We can go in the evening. Let's have dinner together ". Christian smiled. " Alright. I will come pick you up then ". " Done ". Oliver smiled and continued with his work. He had a hop in his step when Christian came to pick him up.
Christian saw him rushing towards the car and chuckled. He found Oliver rather cute. Oliver sat in the car with a smile and buckled up. " Let's go ". Christian drove to the studio. He caught a glimpse in the rear view mirror and noticed Oliver's smile. " Are you excited ? " " A little ? The sketches were really good. So I want to know how good it is in live form ".
Christian nodded. " Agreed ". They reached and went up to the studio. They walked in and greeted Robin who was already waiting for them. Christian's phone rang and he saw it was Jacob. " Excuse me ". He went aside to pick up. Robin turned to Oliver. " Will you change first ? " " Yeah ". He gave the suit to Oliver. Oliver couldn't be more excited.
The white suit was just as good in real life. He went to change into it. Christian picked up the call. " You are not going for a honeymoon ? " Christian didn't even have the chance for a greeting. " We haven't discussed anything ". " Then discuss ! Brother you are getting married. He is going to be with you for life. How can you not even do this ? "
Christian sighed. Jacob continued to convince him. " Listen to me. He is a nice person, isn't he ? And I also know that you are willing to open your heart for him. So why not go for a honeymoon ? You will get to spend some time with him. It need not be long. Just a few days will do ". Christian also thought Jacob was right. Oliver deserved everything.
He should also do his best like he promised. " Alright. I will talk to him ". " Okay. There is actually a beach resort which you can just drive to. I will look into the details and send it to you ". Christian scoffed. " You planned it beforehand ? " " Aye~ no way. I am hanging up. Bye~ " Jacob hung up quickly. Christian shook his head and went to see what Oliver was doing.
Robin told him he went to change. Christian nodded. Just when he sat down, Oliver walked out in his suit. Christian was stunned. Oliver smiled at him and twirled. " How is it ? " " Very good ". Christian knew he was right in choosing white. He looked really good. Oliver grinned. Robin rolled his eyes. " Is everything alright ? " " Yeah. The fit is good ".
Robin checked once and nodded. " I will change back ". Oliver changed out of it and gave it back carefully to Robin. Christian went to change into his. Oliver was waiting eagerly. He was really curious. Christian walked out and Oliver gaped. He looked dumb with that kind of expression. He pulled his jaw back in place.
" This is too much ". He murmured as he checked Christian out. He thought he was already very good in black but now the white suit brought out a different kind of aura. Oliver is sure Christian was an archangel. Christian was confused by the silence. " Is it bad ? " Oliver shook his head vigorously. " No. No. It is so good I forgot to speak. Really very good. You look awesome ".
Oliver couldn't find enough vocabulary to describe it. Christian smiled and checked it in the mirror. Robin checked the fit. " How is it ? " " Good ". He changed back and handed it to Robin. " Then I will pack them up for you. You can take it away ". They finished the payment too in the meantime.
