The closer they physically got to the smoking cave, the clearer the agonizing, desperate screams coming from inside became.
Alicia smoothly drew her sharp weapon at the ruined cave entrance and as she charged inside the smoke, she immediately saw over a dozen brutally mutilated enemy corpses scattered around.
Then came a massive group of heavily dazed enemies desperately clutching their ringing heads, collapsed on the cracked ground, unable to even stand up.
It was too gruesome...
Even as an active enemy, Alicia couldn't help but turn pale at the horrific sight.
For these poor bastards, they had no idea what had happened.
One moment they might have just been casually chatting, and in the blink of an eye, the terrifying light of pure destruction descended upon them.
Some died instantly—and that was already an incredible mercy.
Others tragically lost entire limbs but had somehow sustained fatal internal injuries; not only were they doomed to slowly die, but they would also endure prolonged, agonizing suffering first.
The poor elven girl's slender hands trembled in shock.
Her sleek staff-sword wavered loosely in her tight grip.
Faced with such a horrific scene, she just couldn't wield her sharp sword and fight as she normally would.
Just then, a massive, violent gust of rushing wind swept right past her frozen form.
At that moment, Ais had been freed from the heavy gravity suppression placed on her by Noah and had instantly activated her Ariel.
Wreathed in a roaring storm, she charged straight toward the terrified enemies who hadn't yet fallen, her sword cleanly severing their exposed vital points and delivering instant, brutal kills to every screaming foe.
Her blurring figure darted across the chaotic battlefield as terrified enemies fell in massive, bloody droves.
Watching her cold, expressionless face and her nearly unblinking golden eyes, Alicia's trembling legs even began to shake in deep fear.
'The Doll Princess...'
A terrifying, accurate nickname given to the stoic girl by terrified adventurers who had witnessed Ais in battle, purely out of sheer fear.
An emotionless, beautiful princess who seemingly knew no real fear or physical fatigue, solely and flawlessly executing the brutal, bloody act of pure slaughter.
Noah also calmly stepped inside the smoky ruin.
He quietly approached the frozen elven girl, but she didn't even notice his quiet presence at all.
"Alicia, are you alright?" Noah asked calmly.
But Alicia was too afraid to even turn and look at him.
She was afraid of seeing the exact same cold expression as the one currently slaughtering the screaming enemies right in front of her.
The exact same deadpan look as Ais.
Suddenly, she remembered Raul's accurate words from earlier.
"He... is very similar to Ais. Whether you call it quiet dignity or pure intimidation, the intense aura they naturally emit is fundamentally different from ours... far more innate..."
Gulp.
The terrified elf stiffly turned her trembling head to cautiously observe the black-haired boy's current expression.
Her beautiful face instantly turned pale in shock.
That was... exactly the same look as ais!
A complete and absolute disregard for any enemy lives, treating them as utterly worthless trash.
Alicia found herself at a loss for words.
She suddenly realized she was frantically considering how to respond without provoking the scary boy's displeasure.
Was she... afraid of him?
"This ruined place is way too filthy for a clean elf like you. It's alright, Alicia. Just go join the waiting mages safely outside," Noah told her calmly before walking straight toward the chaotic enemy direction.
The elf wanted to say something.
But ultimately, she couldn't find the right words at all.
"Cough!"
A desperate man heavily dressed in purple robes violently spat out a massive mouthful of blood under the combined brutal assault of both Raul and Aki.
Looking up with pure hatred, he snarled: "Damn it! I'm a Level 4! How the hell could you two weaklings possibly suppress me?! This is impossible!"
Aki quickly circled right behind him, violently slamming her solid small round shield into the distracted man's exposed back and sending him flying forward.
"You're definitely strong. Under normal circumstances, even with Raul and I combined, we wouldn't even be your match,"
Raul calmly took over the conversation. "But right now!"
He easily sliced right open the stunned man's exposed chest with his blazing sword.
"We are vastly stronger!"
"You bastards! You're so called righteous scum!"
The desperate man pulled a glowing red crystal from his torn robe.
Aki's excellent dynamic vision instantly recognized the highly dangerous object and she urgently warned.
"Watch out! It's a Flame Stone!"
Flame Stones were highly unstable, natural explosives, essentially functioning as natural highly lethal grenades.
Even a tiny piece could level an entire house—making it one of Noah's favorite crafting materials to use.
The desperate man attempted to throw the glowing Flame Stone straight at the two of them!
But right before he could.
A dazzling blinding flash of pure lightning pierced straight through the unstable Flame Stone in the shocked man's hand, leaving a clean hole right in it.
"What?! How could this be! No no no no!!"
BOOM!
The ruined Flame Stone exploded under the horrified man's terrified gaze, consuming his entire body and leaving only his charred feet still standing on the smoking ground.
Raul and Aki only dared to open their tightly shut eyes after the massive explosion settled, quickly checking their own bodies for any burn injuries.
"Huh? We're not hurt? Not even a single scratch!"
'Was that lightning just now?' Raul quickly looked behind him and indeed saw Noah, who had just calmly lowered the smoking Annihilator in his hand.
