-When crafting items, has a chance to elevate the finished product by one grade

Denier :

Nullifies one fatal blow while removing all abnormal status effects; can only activate once every 24 hours

'Huh.'

'After updating my status, everything except Dexterity and Agility has reached H-rank.'

'Strength and Endurance grew this much from mining in the Dungeon and working as a supporter, I suppose.'

'Magic goes without saying - I've been maintaining Weaver's activation almost constantly while in the Dungeon.'

'But it seems I'm already starting to specialize from this point.'

'Dexterity and Agility are falling behind.'

'From now on, these two stats will likely fall further and further behind the others.'

'Status growth depends on daily experiences - someone who focuses more on evasion than attack in combat, or someone who frequently flees, will naturally see greater improvements in Agility.'

'Evasion, fleeing - these aren't regular activities for a blacksmith and supporter like me.'

'Blacksmithing requires Strength and Endurance, and because of my skills, I additionally use Magic. Compared to these aspects that are needed around the clock, Dexterity and Agility have far fewer opportunities to be exercised.'

For adventurers, this is quite normal.

That cheat who can grind all stats to S or even SS and break through limits - even in this world filled with extraordinary beings, there's only one such person, unprecedented and unrepeated.

Most adventurers at best manage to raise one or two abilities to D or C rank.

The slightly better ones might get a particular stat to B.

But that's the limit.

The so-called Falna is a catalyst that stimulates latent potential.

Even so, everyone has their own bottlenecks at each level.

If someone's maximum potential is only B, then once their status reaches B, no matter how hard they try, they won't make any further progress.

This also means it's time to level up.

It's like someone whispering in your ear: with your potential, you've reached the limit at this level, it's time to level up.

If any ability reaches A, you're considered outstanding in any Familia.

Those reaching S are, needless to say, definitely cheats.

Even that Ais only had Strength and Endurance at D rank (500+) when she maxed out at lv5.

Her main stats were Dexterity and Agility, both reaching A (800+), with her highest being Magic at S (900+).

Status values reflect a person's combat style, even their strategies and tactics.

'I don't have an experience cheat like 'Liaris Freese' - whether Truth Seeker can break through status limits remains unknown, and skills are definitely not set in stone.'

'Given the right opportunity, skill holders have the potential to elevate their own skills.'

'Even if I can't achieve that, there's no point forcing it.

No matter how much knowledge I have, right now I'm just a greenhorn rookie. Focusing on the task at hand is what's most important.

So, what should I do about Alicia's sword?

The main material will be platinum.

With this, I should be able to forge a decent weapon that would suit Alicia even when she reaches lv3.

Technically, there are no problems.

It's just... this is my first commission.

Making an ordinary sword seems somewhat boring.

Come to think of it, even though Alicia is a mage, she doesn't carry a staff.

Too bad I have no experience making staves.

Among the various status elements, besides basic status, magic, and skills, there's another important component called Development Abilities.

Generally, when adventurers reach lv2, they get the opportunity to choose Development Abilities based on the experiences gained at lv1.

While not everyone gets them, you can increase the probability by engaging in specific activities related to the Development Abilities you want.

Development Abilities also start from I and can reach up to S rank, just like basic status.

For adventurers, Development Abilities are extremely important.

Take Mixing, for example, among Development Abilities.

The condition for acquiring Mixing is extensive experience mixing medicines.

After successfully awakening Mixing, you get powerful bonuses that can elevate the effects of items, starting with 'Potions,' to the level of magic.

Such Development Abilities are essential for pharmacists.

Simply having this ability is enough to support and improve a Familia's economy through potion production.

Similarly, there are highly useful Development Abilities like 'Blacksmith' and 'Mystery.'

Among these, Mystery is an ultra-rare ability that enables the creation of magical tools.

It's said that there are no more than five people in all of Orario who possess the Mystery Development Ability.

For blacksmiths, whether they have the Blacksmith Development Ability is a matter of fate.

Common knowledge in Orario states that blacksmiths without the Blacksmith Development Ability can't compare to those who have it.

By continuing my work as a blacksmith, Noah is confident that when he reaches lv2, he'll be able to choose Blacksmith as his Development Ability.

Choice - no Blacksmith, no Mystery.

Yet his heart was already stirring with excitement.

Forget about Development Abilities!

Development Abilities are also latent potential.

Whether it's Falna or leveling up, these conditions merely reveal the potential that already exists.

If it can be revealed, that means these abilities were there all along.

Since they're mine, why wait for later?

Use them now!

Just selling swords isn't enough - I'll make staves too!

With this idea, Noah swept everything off the table, spread out drawing paper, and began designing sketches.

A night passed, and a 'staff-sword' appeared on the drawing.

"A staff in normal times, transforming into a sword when needed! Yes, that's it! Transformation is truly a man's romance after all!"
