Declaring{Adrenal Overdrive}as new Logis Acceleritas function.

Manually release a surge of epinephrine and testosterone hormones. In conjunction with a synchronised increase in heart rate and blood pressure, 'Adrenal Overdrive' permits regular combat operations at greatly increased speed.

For 10 seconds, slow time to 60% speed (or at least, your perception of it) while moving at normal speeds. Can be used 3 times before long rest is required.

Further upgrades may improve ability numerics in the name of the Omnissiah.

(Three hours later)

"Just hand me your cash, motherfucker!" the knife-wielding drughead shouted at me with his sunken eyes and sore-riddled skin.

"I don't have my wallet or phone with me, man." I calmly sighed. How terribly unlucky, it's still mid-afternoon and we weren't even in the bad part of town! Out of the hundreds of thousands of people in Brockton bay, I was the one he ended up mugging. My[Cranial Implants]only made me smarter, they did not make me able to see into the future. At least not yet.

"Don't give me that bullcrap!" the emaciated man in his ratty shorts and tank top growled at me as he brandished his kitchen knife, the grimy metal must be crawling with all sorts of exotic STDs and diseases that this guy had, "I know you're holding out on me!"

I could use my newly minted{Adrenal Overdrive}and handle him effortlessly, but that would mean touching his diseased self and outing myself to the general public. My eyes glanced across the street and someways up and down the road where people were already recording the whole thing on their smartphones. Hopefully, someone will actually call the police. For now, I was just a Celestial Forgesmith that got caught with his pants down: Just an hour or two before he was able to forge up something capable of being shooty or choppy… or a combat android in a fluttery dress and an amazing ass.

Emotion-Dampening Protocols (EDP) active at 33% maxload.

What? Why was my EDP suddenly so hi-

"Another one of you lost little drug-lambs again?" A feminine voice scoffed from the air above us.

White and gold dress fluttered heroically in the wind as the people recording in the distance oo'ed and aah'ed. Glory Girl has arrived, in all her blonde blue-eyed jailbait glory. She wore a confident smirk as she descended from the blue sky- the sun stylishly shining over her shoulder. It also gave me a clear view up her skirt where her snug black biker shorts gave her a pretty noticeable cameltoe. Perhaps she was hoping for the sun glare to hide it? Regardless, she was no android, and therefore, as attractive to me as a slug. But the form factor of her outlined labia was aesthetically pleasing… maybe I can model an android after her?

"I swear…" Glory Girl shook her head in disappointment as she hovered a metre above the ground. "I take out one dealer the day before and a dozen of you all go looking for more 'product' in the worst places."

"Fuck you, Glory Whore, I ain't afraid of yo-!"

Two punches. That's all it took. Glory Girl closed the already short distance in a blink of an eye, and threw two punches. One to the guy's knife hand, the other to the guy's jaw and he was immediately sprawled out cold on the pavement with his diseased knife clattering away.

"Yeah, see how far that mouth of yours took you, you baked moron?" She muttered before turning her blue eyes towards me- scanning me for injuries. "You okay?"

"Yes, completely unharmed." I reply with a nod and a polite smile, "Thanks for the assist, Glory Girl. If you'll excuse me, I have places to be."

"What? Just like that?" She frowned- tilting her head slightly in confusion.

"What do you mean? This is Brockton Bay. It's not surprising." I reasoned while glancing at the druggie still unconscious on the pavement. And for a split second, even I was confused. Then my[Cranial Implants]and its Logis Acceleritas filled in the blanks.

Subtle increase in aura effects signify Glory Girl consciously or subconsciously hungry for attention.

Micro facial expressions indicate confusion over my lack of star-struck reaction.

Young adult males likely have such a reaction to her without fail. Likely regardless of relationship status or sexual orientation. Until I came along with my EDP.

Will find my lack of reaction insulting. Hurt may turn to Annoyance may turn to Suspicion may turn to Enmity.

Potential for verbal altercation with Glory Girl: High.

Unless…

"Er… sorry if I'm a bit stiff, it's just overwhelming being saved bytheGlory Girl." I coolly lied- deliberately faking trying not to check her out. My eyes flicked momentarily to her decently-sized bust before looking away seemingly embarrassed.

At that, Glory Girl's confused expression gave way to a smug one- a knowing smirk curling her pink lips.

"Heh, you won't be the first one to bestiffaround me, no sweat." She teased- having bought my act before she slowly floated into the air, "You're welcome for the save, but sorry I don't have time for a handshake, I got places to be."

Glory Girl wanted the encounter to end on her terms. Wanted the last word in.

Feeling good about it just now.

And with a smile and a wave, she flew away in a great gust of wind just as the sirens of incoming police began howling in the distance… Strolling away from the scene of the crime, I once again felt vindicated in my choice in androids over fleshbags. Human brains with fragile egos that require constant emotional maintenance and reinforcement. Worse still were the parahumans- their shards warped their minds and made them into mean bullies and irritable assholes. This was all in stark contrast to the resilient stability of a machine-mind.

Oh well, at least I got something out of the encounter…

Purchasing further Libraries from the Celestial Forge requires ritual prayer.

Well, I'm sure I can find a spot to do a quick prayer… 200 CP was all I'll need to actually get started.

All I need to do now is to go to the local landfill or scrapyard, and pray there.

Reclaimer (Warhammer 40k - Adeptus Mechanicus) (200CP)

Rare is the heretek with wealth or connections enough to acquire the resources to pursue innovation without raising suspicion. Most must make do with whatever they can scavenge or build for themselves, and fortune seems to often favour them when harvesting useful components from wrecked machines. More often than not, the most delicate and valuable pieces of technology can be pulled intact from wrecks you find or create.

Attendants (Warhammer 40k - Adeptus Mechanicus) (0CP)

Choose: A dozen servo skulls, a five-servitor workforce, or a trio of personalized cherubs. All are dull but reliable servants, coming equipped for a variety of tasks. The patterns of each are easy to re-fit for more specialized work.

Servo-Skulls:Drone-like robotic device that appears to be a human skull outfitted with electronic or cybernetic components that utilise embedded anti-gravity field generators to allow them to hover and drift bodiless through the air. Servo-skulls form an important niche in Imperial work, serving as everything from auto-scribes that copy down important conversations and confessions of prisoners to simple moving torches, hovering about their charge with candles and electric lanterns to illuminate the area.
