Ira said with a pout obviously not happy with the injection she just received.
" Here eat something, take your medicine and sleep. You will be leaving the hospital tomorrow okay so complaining my child ah"
" Who is your child", Adira grumbled as she starts to eat the food given to her.
"You nah , be good my adorable Ira"
Mina concluded with a laugh. She just messing with her friend.
"I hope this stays between us Collin or should I say Doctor Collin or else" , Lola threatened.
" Relax, I don't like interacting with you since I came to know your real nature. Goodbye Lola and see you never ", Collin replied with certain venom in his voice.
Lola scoffs and cat-walked away proudly. She was obviously over the moon. Just wait Aarez, your so called Grandma won't be able to stop me. She thought arrogantly.
Aarez found himself staring at the night sky again. Something he normally do when he is troubled. It's 10 pm but he couldn't sleep.
Mina's behavior in the morning shocked him. She has been always been sweet and gentle so what changed. Is his grandma right about her, did he failed to see the real Lola or he is the problem.
He thought as he lighted his cigarette. It's been a long time since he smoked because Lola does not like that.
His sweat pants moved tightly around him as he walked to his laptop on the coffee table.
Hmmm, work come again. Being the CEO of his family business is not small thing. A lot of expectations are expected from him.
He not complaining though, he loves to work. It's just that too much is happening lately and for once in his twenty eight years of life, he wish to take a break.
But can he , no he can't.
He take a look at his laptop screen and sent message to his secretary.
She wants space right, she will have one. He just wishes that by the time he returns, everything will fall in place.
2 and half month later
Adira looks at this male friend of hers wondering why he keeps staring at her.
" What is it Alistair, you've been staring at me for like centuries. It's there a problem"
Adira asked clearly annoyed. They are at the crateria waiting for Mina to come but she ordered her food since she is feeling very angry. She and Alistair are majoring Civil right law while Mina is majoring in criminal law. Adira has been friends with Mina since highschool but only became friends with Alistair in their second year when they were given a group assignments.
" Have you noticed that you been eating a lot lately . Your appetite has increased and please don't roast me but you are also gaining weight."
Alistair cleared himself since a certain friend of his is already sending him daggers through her eyes.
" And what's your problem with that. Young man leave me alone. Why are so nosy nowadays"
Adira replied scornfully with an eye roll as she continues swallowing her food.
" And your temper is also bad lately too"
