Chapter 4: The Decision is You, Senior Saya

Third world: Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid.

Seeing this one, Roy immediately ruled it out. Setting aside the fact that Tohru and Kanna's strength vastly exceeded his by who knows how much, they were also of dragon bloodline, making the contract difficulty considerable.

In truth, demon bloodline was not weak. It was mentioned in the original work as well.

A demon's lifespan was nearly without end — what was called a long-lived species.

A bloodline capable of immortality could not be weak.

However, even so, to contract Tohru and Kanna, one would need at minimum Demon King level strength.

Tohru and Kanna's strength was around the level of an Transcendent, and with their bloodline on top of that, the contract difficulty was further elevated.

The system's transmigration function had limitations. Right now he only had one transmigration opportunity, so he had to seize the chance.

Of course, as his strength grew in the future, the number of transmigrations would increase.

And these worlds that had not yet been visited would not disappear either — going after his strength grew would also be possible.

So Roy decided on the spot. The world he would go to was the world of Highschool of the Dead.

It seemed that as long as he contracted Saeko Busujima, his strength would certainly break through to mid-class demon level.

Having decided, Roy lightly tapped the Highschool of the Dead frame with his finger.

The next moment, Roy transformed into a beam of white light and disappeared from the kendo club.

On the rooftop terrace of a building, a white light flashed, and Roy's figure appeared here.

"Aah... No... Don't bite me!"

"Save me... Save me!"

"It hurts... You bastard, let go..."

Just as he appeared, various noisy sounds met his ears.

Roy looked down below the building — good lord, all the people in the entire school were biting and chasing each other.

Various screams were incessant, a complete apocalypse scene.

"Surely this isn't Fujimi Academy where the plot begins!"

Roy looked around. This was indeed inside a school campus. As to whether it was Fujimi Academy specifically, that would need further confirmation.

It was his first time using the system's transmigration function, and he had no idea where he would appear.

"No..."

"Haaah!"

"Bang!"

At this moment Roy heard sounds coming from the other side of the rooftop. He walked over to look.

He saw three people — weren't they Takashi Komuro, Rei Miyamoto, and Hisashi Igou from the original work?

What had just happened was precisely the scene where Hisashi Igou had turned into a zombie and been smashed in the head by Takashi Komuro with a baseball bat.

And Rei Miyamoto could only shout "No!" from the side.

It appeared this was indeed Fujimi Academy, and moreover the plot had only just begun.

"Hello there! Could you tell me where the kendo club is?"

Roy appeared in front of Takashi and Rei, giving them a fright.

Seeing that the newcomer was not one of those zombies from before, they immediately let out a sigh of relief.

However, having just experienced her boyfriend's death, Rei clearly was in no mood to answer his question.

Neither was Takashi.

Seeing this, Roy shrugged his shoulders. If they wouldn't answer, forget it. He turned and jumped off the rooftop.

"What? He actually jumped!"

Takashi was shocked by Roy's action. This was the top of a building's rooftop — jumping down like that and still surviving?

Even if the fall didn't kill him, there were zombies below!

He quickly moved to the rooftop edge and looked down. As a result, he did not see anyone fall.

On Roy's end, of course he had not fallen — he had arrived on the corridor below.

He planned to search floor by floor downward, to see if he could find Saeko Busujima's location.

As for Takashi and Rei, he didn't care about them at all. He had absolutely no favorable impression of those two.

"Groaarrr!!"

Just as he landed on the corridor, several nearby zombies heard the footsteps and immediately surrounded him.

These zombies were covered in blood, ragged and torn, their faces ferocious and eyes white — they looked rather revolting.

"Thwip thwip!!"

The wooden sword in his hand, at a speed invisible to the naked eye, swept across the necks of several zombies.

The next moment all the zombies' heads fell, and several corpses collapsed to the ground.

This was the wooden sword Roy used during kendo training. Although it was only a wooden sword, it could easily sever a zombie's head.

Like cutting tofu, and moreover not a drop of blood got on him.

This was Roy's level of kendo mastery. If he could learn breathing techniques, he estimated he could immediately slash out sword qi.

Killing as he walked, Roy moved at a very fast pace, and after only a short while had searched through several floors.

After searching yet another floor, he came down the stairs to the next floor.

To his surprise, on this floor many zombies were all crowded in front of one classroom, the ferocious and terrifying zombies desperately squeezing toward the inside of the classroom.

Bang!

Facing the pressure of so many zombies, the doors and windows finally could not hold and shattered apart.

All the zombies rushed and jostled to surge inside.

"Kyaaa!!!"

A piercing girl's scream rang out, causing the surrounding zombies to become even more frenzied.

Of course this also drew the attention of some of the living people nearby.

Roy heard this scream and decided to go see who it was.

His wooden sword's movement was invisible, yet the zombies around him were constantly losing their heads — this was caused by his striking speed being too fast.

Having cleared most of the zombies in the corridor, something that somewhat surprised Roy was that on the other side of the corridor, someone else was also clearing zombies.

Roy fixed his gaze and immediately his eyes lit up.

On the other side was a girl with long purple hair and a calm, cold expression.

A tall figure — even the most ordinary school uniform could not conceal that superb figure.

Her every move seemed to carry the elegance and composure of a girl from a distinguished noble family.

The wooden sword in her hand was bloodied. Every stroke could precisely shatter a zombie's skull — clean and decisive.

This girl killing her way over from the opposite side was precisely Roy's target on this trip — Saeko Busujima.
