The group went ahead and started heading towards another part of the cave and proceeded down a tunnel, leading to another large opening, before they could even get to the opening chamber. CIA spoke, hold up, guys. Something ominous is in that room, and I don't think it's a good idea for us to step in there. I can sense it, it's some kind of spider. Everything in my body is tingling from it.
Leo: That's fine, you guys can stop here. We, teachers, are going to move forward and deal with this threat, even with you guys getting stronger. Last Month, it was too risky for you; it's still not enough to fight this, and I will not risk students fighting a creature of this level. All the students looked at them as if he lost their minds.

As the teachers took off heading straight out into the middle, ready to engage the monster, it did not take long before the creatures saw what they were doing and proceeded to launch their attacks.

But it was proving to be difficult for all 3 of the teachers, so some of the kids decided to go ahead and try to throw some attacks at the creature. And I simply bounced off. They stood there, shocked; they couldn't do anything about it. The creature was so strong that its attacks were nothing.
As the fight progressed, the 3 teachers managed to wound the creature heavily as Leo prepared a major attack. He managed to slice down and kill the creature. But the creature managed to get the upper hand at the last second and wounded Leo in the process.
Leo was lying there on the ground, leading out. Minx quickly rushed over and proceeded to heal him as quickly as he could. Leo, realizing how much of a stupid mistake that was, could have gotten himself killed if only he were younger; he would have been able to dodge that and be far more careful. As the rest of the group came over to see how he was doing, Leo said, Quinn, I think I need your help.
Leo: I need your help to restore my strength and maybe even get myself a greater edge, clearly. My age is catching up to me, and I'm no longer fit enough to protect people, let alone fight the looming threats I need you to turn me.
Quinn: You won't be human anymore. Do you understand how much your life will change? There's a lot of risk going into such a drastic change.
Leo: It's fine, please turn me. I need to get stronger. And this is the only other way I have left.

I mean, there was an entire flood of Beast earlier trying to destroy an outpost, and we did pretty well. I mean, everyone's getting stronger each time we fight every day, but that's not good enough.
