Quinn quickly noticed a second-year girl being harassed by a bunch of second-year boys. He went over to her to intervene, not realizing it was a trap.
Quinn said, "Oh, how ironic. So you guys are getting this desperate for money, huh? Hoping to catch one of the night demons in the action. Come at me."
The three boys looked at each other and nodded their heads.
They began using their powers, trying to trap Win. They threw out a few blood slipes shattering their abilities and wounding two boys. The third one managed to block the attack.
Quinn quickly dove in close and hit the boy in the center with a hammer strike, throwing him out and into a tree. He swung around and kicked the other 2, knocking them to the ground. One of the other boys still conscious, Quinn quickly grabbed him and began interrogating him.
"Who are you working for," Quinn pressed for answers, "why should I tell you night demon scum."
Quinn immediately began using his influence skill to get the truth out of the student. With his red eyes staring into the boy's, the boy's eyes begin glazing over.
Quinn asked again, "who is in charge of this entire money operation."
"General Duke," the boy answered in response, "He's the one who's receiving all the funding."
Layla, hearing this, gasped at the sheer audacity, " I can't believe this, of all people. This is truly despicable. How could the earth born allow such things?"

The week before the first outing.
The next day had arrived, and it was a weekend for students. Just like any other school, students did not have to attend classes and were free to do as they wished around the city.
Although the curfew still existed, they had to be back in their dorm rooms before ten in the evening, and they were not allowed to leave the city.
However, for the leaders at the school, their day was not as relaxing as the students for a meeting had been called. Inside the academy on the top floor, the leaders of the academy had gathered in a fairly large meeting hall.
In the other seats, usually by the Head General's side, were the three Generals of the school. There was the head of the second-year student's Duke, with his large arms and muscular build.
Then the head of the first-year students, Nathan, who looked the complete opposite of Duke, was small in size and wore glasses; he was always casually dressed for important occasions, which annoyed Duke.

Lastly, there was the third General who was head of staff, and the rest of the privates and teachers in the academy. Currently, his seat was also empty.
The two Generals sat in their seats waiting for the others to arrive,e and as usual, there was silence between the two of them.
Finally, the doors opened, and eight people had arrived, all wearing military uniforms, each with the rank of sergeant displayed. Of these eight sergeants, they included Leo, the Beast weapons teacher; Fay, the head of squads; Hayley, the school doctor; Vincent; Kazz; and Silver.
The eight sergeants sat in their seats opposite the generals, and finally, it was time for the meeting to start.
