The shareholders' meeting hall was packed.

Executives. Investors. Media representatives.

Whispers filled the air about the recent data leak.

Adrian stood at the podium, calm and commanding.

"We experienced a breach," he said evenly. "It was not caused by negligence."

Victoria watched from the front row.

Adrian continued:

Victoria's fingers tightened around her clutch.

Adrian's eyes swept the room.

"She has been falsely accused," Adrian said clearly. "She remains under my direct supervision. Any attempt to undermine her position will be treated as an act against this company."

Silence.

Victoria's expression darkened.

Adrian stepped down from the podium and walked straight to Amelia's side.

And in that moment—

Everyone understood.

She was untouchable.
