Chapter 2: The Hive
"Wake up, Wake up, Wake up, wake up" Xena hisses down at Leon. Lightly smacking his face while crocheting over his lower chest upper stomach area, her own face being a foot above his. She spent a good minute or two smacking his face lightly trying to wake him up before he finally awakened.
Leon slowly opens his eyes groaning slightly from the light slaps, he looks at Xena slowly and gasped and out of reflex pushed and kicked her back with some force to it. It pushed her into the stone wall behind her, making her let out a surprised soft screech as it caught her off guard. Leon backed away and then his mind fully was awake and he remembered everything from last night making him just realize what he did. "O-OH SHIT…s-s-sorry I'm sorry!" he exclaimed, backing himself into the other wall opposite of the one he pushed Xena into.
Xena growls at him before lunging at him "you little…" she landed on top of him before she could finish what she was going to say. She was now up in his face, putting her inner jaw in his face with the mouth open, screeching in his face enough to scare him but quiet enough no other xenomorph in her hive would hear though it would be hard when you're in a cave. "You try that again and this inner mouth goes through your skull!" she threatened. Talking through her inner jaw which made her voice more high pitched and more cute than before.
"Y-Yes M-ma'am, b-but y-you a-are making y-your safe more cuter than threatening" he said softly but couldn't help stare at her chest that was just right there in front of him 'Wow she is hot' he thought as he was grabbed by his arms and yanked up with no warning, causing him to let out a little yelp in surprise.
"Now listen here human…" she hisses getting up close to his face, "You Stop trying to use your sweet talk to make me go easier on you. It is not happening, secondly, you work for us now until I say otherwise. And for today I will be showing you around your new home. Then…you will be going outside the hive with me of course and I will monitor you as you will get us food"
"H-How w-would you want me to get you food i-if I may ask?" Leon responds as he wants to get a better idea on how to not get hurt or killed doing the task she is asking for him to do.
She was slightly annoyed by his question but growls "I will show you in a minute you impatient human" she said trying to insult him though what a terrible insult.
"O-Ok" he replied simply. With all that settled, Xena then climbs out of the prison like ditch and then lays on her stomach reaching down and grabs both of Leon's arms and yanks him out of the hole.
Leon watched her let go of him, back away and climb out of the hole. He stayed quiet as he watched her, seeing her then reach down and grab him and pulled him out by both his arms. The yank did hurt him a little and he grunts a little and holds his shoulders in pain for a moment while laying on the ground. Holding them like he was crossing his arms to go down a waterslide.
Xena stood up and looked down at him, swaying his body back and forth on the ground holding his shoulders "What the hell are you doing?"
"Y-you hurt my shoulders! T-they might be dislocated!" he hissed in pain, still holding his shoulders as he gently leans up, still tightly holding onto his shoulders.
"Ok? You humans and your weak bodies" she grumbles, grabbing his arms and pulls them away from his shoulders. They were gripping and yanking them and pushing and pulling onto Leon's arms aggressively and soon two pops were heard simutaniously.
"OW FUCK!" Leon shouted from the jolt of pain they Xena gave him by popping and relocating his shoulders back. He goes back to holding his shoulder and rolling around "ow ow ow why would you do that?!" he exclaimed in pain.
"Ok enough of this childish behavior, you got work to do, let's go" she said and stood there as he completely ignored her, laying there as he did stop whining, but his shoulders were still hurting.
"J-Just give m-me a minute" he muttered and slowly leaned up only to fall back onto his back as Xena just had enough of his games. He was grabbed by the left foot and began to get dragged along the ground as Xena made her way out of the cave as she was just gonna make him hunt for food first and tour later since he wants to complain so much in her mind.
As Leon was being dragged along the ground, he gently let go of his shoulders and even noticed other xenomorphs nearby staring at Leon as he got dragged by Xena. Seeing this, he was starting to feel awkward about the situation "O-Ok y-you c-can stop! I'll walk now I promise"
"Too late, gotta be punished for your childish behavior!" she replied and in response Leon groaned, crossing his arms.
She dragged him all the way out in the middle of the forest. No cave or escape into society in sight. She lets go of his leg causing it to fall onto the ground and then pulls Leon onto his feet. "Ok, now you are gonna hunt for food for us but seeing how naive you are I'm gonna have to teach you" she told him.
"I-I'm not nai…" he tried to stand up for himself but got interrupted by Xena as she wasn't gonna give him a chance to defend himself nor wanting to hear his excuse. Leon for sure started to become less afraid and more annoyed.
"Enough talking child, more listening" she said as she put the palm of her hand over his mouth to silence him. Though he quickly pushed her arm away and started spitting on the ground in disgust as he quickly realized she probably hasn't washed her hands and he doesn't know anything about where her hands have been or if they are even clean. Just by the fact he tasted dirt on her hands alone was enough to make him do it.
"Ew! Do you even wash your hands?!" he exclaimed as she snarled at him just cause it sounded like he was back talking to her or getting aggressive after just telling him to stop talking.
"What?! What even is washing my hands? I clean my hands sometimes, but not often, that's besides the point humans!" she said, rolling her head instead of her eyes since she doesn't have eyes.
"That's still disgusting! Us humans like to stay cleaannnnnn! We do not like being dirttyyyyyyy cause that's unhealtthyyyyyy" he said, not just trying to educate her as he kept on and on.
Xena grumbles as he continues to explain the interesting importance of hygiene. She looks at him ignoring every word coming out of his mouth. Then she notices some dirt below her and she slowly grins, bending over grabbing a handful and throws it into his face and crosses her arms.
He jumped and his mouth was half open in shock after the dirt hit his face, still didn't stop some from going into his mouth and eyes. "D-Did you just seriously do that? And you are calling me the child" he said and got hit again with another handful of dirt and closed his mouth quickly but more got in his mouth and Xena was amused by it.
"You done with your little display of yours, human?" she asked him as was wiping the dirt off his face, out of his eyes, and spitting yet again to get the dirt out of his mouth. And Xena was just enjoying making him agitated by the dirt and herself inflicting it upon him.
"Y-Yes" he said softly feeling the shame coming back as she was just making a fool of him. Once he got the dirt off of him the best he could, he would give xena his undivided attention.
She chuckles in a hissy way with his reply "perfect, so you're a human, not one of us. Which means your strategy for getting food will be different than ours…" she told him watching him just stare at her like a zombie but kept going "...you will have to know to be slow, be quiet and not make any stupid annoying human noises" she continued on.
"What?" he muttered.
"Like that, saying that will make you lose your food. You need to be quiet, and patient. We Xeno's would be able to sneak up on a deer for example, then pounce on them fast, gripping onto them by digging our close into them and either bite into their neck or stab into the neck or chest to kill it. But unlike us, you have…" she looks him up and down at his body "...none of those qualities…this is going to be a long day" she hisses.
"Uh sorry i guess?" he replied with a shrug. Not knowing how else to respond other than just accepting that she is gonna go hard on him.
"Since You clearly have nothing to kill your prey with we are gonna need to get you something" she said looking around and then spots a tree "wait here" she told him and walks over to the tree and climbs up it to look for a stick she would deem as a good spear for him to us.
Leon watches her climb up the tree and after about a minute of her still up there he looks around slowly, eyeing no one else seems to be around. Then he looked up "Uh, did you find what you're looking for yet?" he asked while looking up the tree and seeing her. While noticing all the leaves in the way to block her potential vision.
"No, I'm looking for a good sized stick just wait there a minute, patience is part of this learning thing of yours, you need to be patient, human!" she told him.
"ok…ok " he replied, looking up and stepping back a few feet. Thinking about what she said about being stealthy, he looks around once again and seeing it appears no one is around, he slowly turns away from the tree Xena is in and slowly starts walking away. He kept his cool and was slow with each step while looking at the ground so as to not snap a twig or crunch leaves that would give him away.
He kept up that slow steady pace for a few minutes, going in a different direction which they came from to avoid stumbling back into the hive. Once a few minutes of slow walking has been accomplished, he looks behind him to check if the coast is clear. Lucky enough it was, so he began sprinting away, heavy breathing and panic was starting to settle inside him as he just pulled off somehow getting away from her. Now it's time for his escape.
On the other hand, Xena found a perfect sized stick and quickly sharpened the end of it while sitting in the tree, making the point about three inches long with as pointy of a tip as she could make it. "There we go, perfect for a simple human to manage" she said to herself in a proud tone.
"Alright human, here's….your stick…" she was gonna say to Leon after hopping down from the tree only to notice he was gone. She stood there for a moment to process it before looking left, then right, then behind her. "Human? HUMAN?!" she called out in a loud screech. In response, she got nothing. Which only means he snuck away. "Well that little smart human" she growls and smirks, drooling viciously in the mouth as she was about to have a little fun of her own.
