Chapter 1 The Lin Mei and the old bracelet

The morning mist floated gently over Qinghe Village.

Roosters crowed from every corner, and thin smoke rose from kitchen chimneys. The village slowly woke up, just like it had for hundreds of years.

Lin Mei tightened the straps of her cloth bag and hurried along the narrow dirt path.

"I'm late again!" she muttered, half-running, half-walking.

At seventeen years old, Lin Mei was already considered grown in Qinghe Village. Many girls her age were preparing for marriage. But she was different. She still studied at the small county school and dreamed of seeing the outside world one day.

Her black hair was tied into a simple braid. Her light-blue blouse had been washed so many times that its color had faded. Yet, her bright eyes always sparkled with curiosity.

She stopped near the old banyan tree and bent down."Grandpa Chen asked me to clean this place yesterday..." she remembered.

As she swept away dry leaves, something hard touched her broom.

Clink.

"Huh?"

She crouched down and pushed the leaves aside.

There, half-buried in the soil, lay a small jade bracelet.

It was pale green, smooth, and cold to the touch.

"This... wasn't here before," Lin Mei whispered.

She picked it up carefully.

The moment her fingers touched the bracelet-

Whoosh!

A strange warmth rushed through her body.

Her vision blurred.

For a second, the world went silent.

Then-

She found herself standing in a vast green field.

Blue sky.

Soft wind.

Rows and rows of fertile land.

A clear stream flowed nearby, sparkling like silver.

"Where... am I?" she gasped.

Her heart pounded wildly.

This place didn't belong to Qinghe Village.

It felt... unreal.

Yet, it was more real than any dream.Yet, it was more real than any dream.

Suddenly, a gentle voice echoed in her mind:

"Welcome, Master. The Planting Space has awakened."

Lin Mei froze.

"Master? Planting... space?"

Before she could understand anything, her vision blurred again.

In the next second-

She was back under the banyan tree.

The bracelet rested quietly on her wrist, shining faintly.

The village looked the same.

The roosters still crowed.

The wind still blew.

But Lin Mei knew-

Her ordinary life had just ended.

And a mysterious new journey had begun.
