At one moment, he was in the ravaged land of Sokovia, and in the next, Mark found himself inside a white room with only a single observation window in the corner. Behind it, men and women holding clipboards watched him curiously.

"After a night of rest, it is detected that Project Titan possesses a low-tier regeneration factor. Commencing the third phase. Foe: A bear," one of the scientists—a woman—said emotionlessly.

With a hydraulic hiss, a section of the white wall opened, and a massive bear walked in.

'What's happening—'

"Roar!"

Mark's thoughts were interrupted as a roar came... from his own mouth.

'The hell?!'

The moment the roar ended, Mark felt himself running toward the bear. Once he closed the distance, he threw a punch.

'That's not my arm!' Mark thought as the reality of his situation finally came crashing down on him.

He had been reincarnated into the Marvel world. He possessed the combined physiques of both Majin Buu and Mahoraga—and he had fought a huge mutant before absorbing him, a doctor, and a soldier.

Although Mark was deep in thought, 'his' body didn't pause for a second. His muscular arm engaged the bear in a contest of brute strength before his body—with a sudden surge of power—pushed the bear back, causing it to stagger. 'He' rushed forward again, grabbed one of the bear's arms, twisted it, and ripped it off, spraying blood across the white floor.

Roar!

"Roar!"

The bear roared in pain, and 'He' roared in... joy.

The bear landed heavily on the floor, but 'He' continued the attack. Grabbing the bear's neck, 'his' muscular arms tensed, ripping the head clean off the body. Blood flew through the air, drenching his torso.

"Roar!" Another roar escaped his mouth.

'This has to be Titan,' Mark thought dryly.

"Update Subject Titan's strength profile—"

Those were the last words he heard before a kaleidoscope of colors exploded in his vision. When he regained his senses, he was walking down a white hallway.

'Another one?'

"Doctor Luke," a male in a lab coat said, approaching 'him'. "The air ventilation in Chamber 4 has melted, and the oxygen level within it has dropped."

"Fools!" 'He' barked. "Didn't I tell you to acquire high-fire-resistant materials for the construction?!"

The man lowered his head. "T-The higher-ups haven't signed the papers yet..."

"Damn it! If Subject Pyre dies, it's on them!"

Shouting past the man, 'He' continued down the white hallway, and Mark felt his vision blur once more. Suddenly, he found himself standing in a barely illuminated room.

"General Michael. An international organization has decided to sponsor the government in stabilizing the riot, but in return, we are to escort their specialized force through Sokovia—especially through areas terrorized by rebels who have children among them. Do you understand?" a heavy-set man sitting behind a wide desk said, looking up at 'him'.

'He' raised his hand in a crisp salute. "Yes, sir!"

The memories kept coming—from Titan's initial capture, to Doctor Luke's rise from a nobody to a key figure, to General Michael's cruel treatment of the rebels.

Mark didn't know how much time had passed, but his eyes finally snapped open to reveal a tattered ceiling.

'Is this another one of Michael's memories?' Mark thought.

"Mark!"

A girl's and a boy's voice overlapped. Before Mark could react, he felt two heavy weights collapse onto his chest. Raising his head, he saw the cause.

A beautiful girl and a handsome boy, both with light brown hair, were hugging him tightly.

Mark smiled—a small, relieved smile. 'I'm back... finally.'

Five minutes later.

Mark had finally caught up on what happened after he blacked out. Pietro had run into Peter—the co-leader of their small rebel group, who was also a mutant.

"So I've been asleep for two days?" Mark asked, raising an eyebrow at the Maximoff twins.

"Yeah," Pietro said with a chuckle. "Bro, you really made Wanda cry her eyes out."

Wanda nudged him with a fist, then turned to Mark. "Are you okay? Do you feel weird anywhere?"

"I'm fine," Mark said, waving his hand dismissively.

Wanda bit her lip, staring at the ground. "It's because of me again... If I hadn't confronted the army in my rage, but had taken you away instead, none of this would have happened."

"Didn't I say I'm fine?" Mark said, ruffling her hair. "You fought those men for me, so you shouldn't blame yourself. Besides, didn't I tell you? My ability is to heal. After all, didn't I recover after getting my head smashed?"

"Wanda told me about that," Pietro said, letting out a whistle. "Isn't your ability a little too broken?"

Before Mark could reply, another voice intruded on their conversation.

"Seems you're finally awake."

A man with a jacket draped over his shoulders and hands in his pockets walked into the room. Trailing behind him was the bearded uncle—Peter—alongside a stunning blonde woman, a young girl who looked to be their age, and a large man with a warm smile.

Mark's and the Maximoff twins' eyes widened as they stared at the approaching group.

They were the known mutants in their small rebel army.

The man in the jacket was Viktor; his ability was unknown.

Peter had the power to coat his hands in flames that exploded on impact.

The blonde beauty, Nadia, could charm any man when she exposed her skin.

The girl their age, Vera, could turn invisible.

And the large man, Boris, could grow in size.

"Pietro, honey~" Nadia's voice sounded sultry as she looked at Pietro with a smile. "Can you excuse us?"

"Ah... yes... yes," Pietro stammered, nodding quickly before turning to his sister and friend. "I'll see you guys outside."

Once Pietro left, Viktor looked down at the two kids.

"You awakened your abilities, didn't you?" he asked.

Wanda and Mark nodded in confirmation.

"I see." Viktor smiled. "Welcome to the inner circle. With you two, our plan can finally begin."
