Rimuru was in an eating competition with Orc Disaster. It was a competition of who will be eaten and who be the eater.
And suddenly, a red slime dropped from the ground and enveloped them both.
But hearing 'I am not a bad slime', Rimuru let down his guard.

'I know, Great Sage! Let me focus on Orc Disaster properly!'

With Rimuru not listening to Great Sage, it forcibly took over, as this is a very serious emergency.
But Rimuru didn't stop his focus on consuming Orc Disaster, leading to Great Sage having less concentration in defence.
On the other hand, Apolloyon was fully focused on Rimuru, along with Nexis. Orc Disaster will come second.
Not only was it a battle between Devourer and Predator, but also Great Sage and Nexis. Two incredibly similar Unique Skills.
But, Apolloyon's willpower is completely focused on the task, unlike a certain dimwit who hasn't even realised just what is happening yet.
To compensate for that, Veldora was pumping his magicules out of his prison at full capacity.

Veldora shouted from his prison, but it didn't reach Rimuru.
