"Looks like everyone's touched the threshold of Divine Breath, and Senti has actually become the Emanator of memory…"
Kiana's eyes were closed, a sweet smile on her lips.
She had been observing them with ki perception.
And… Nous dared to lay a hand on my adorable Bronya!
Once I grow beyond the level of the Aeons, I'll teach that inflexible bucket of bolts a lesson.
Anyway, now that I'm the Herrscher of Finality and have Ultra Instinct, the step beyond an Aeon is only one stride away.
Right now, if I went head-to-head with an Aeon, honestly, I wouldn't even bet against myself.
Or maybe I could reach a little understanding with Zandalar and use my corrosion clearance to give Him a nasty surprise.
In short, bullying Bronya like this can't be left unpunished.
From what she could tell, the final invitation for Bronya to join the Genius Society was just a convenient way to tag and monitor her.
After privately grumbling for a while, she turned her gaze elsewhere.
"How are Ely and big sis doing…?"
As she spoke, Kiana glanced at the group through her senses.
She saw the Flame-Chasers and her two big sisters already battling the Locust-like Insectoids on their respective planets.
Senti, meanwhile, had turned into a red shooting star and was streaking toward the Insectoids' hive world.
"Looks like Senti has locked onto the hive. Once big sis and the others finish up and Senti reaches the target, it'll be my turn. Before that…"
Kiana raised a hand, opened the chat group, tapped 'Go Live,' and waved at the camera.
"Hello everyone, the stream is starting~"
With so many beauties showing their prowess this time, she wanted to give the group a feast for the eyes.
Inside the tavern, the various Kianas looked up at the screen suddenly projected above them.
[Niúmǎ Na: @Group Owner Na, ohoho, disappeared for half a day—what were you up to?]
"We're at war right now; I'm giving you sisters a live look at the battlefield."
As she spoke, Kiana shifted the view to the planet where Elysia was.
[Pretty Cure Na: That big sis is so pretty, but she's surrounded by disgusting locusts…]
[Gojo Na: So many curses of the same species?]
[Knight Na: That little lady looks totally relaxed; if it were me, I'd already be figuring out how to run.]
[Group Owner Na: You've got the Decade Driver and all you think about is running? Hit them with a Rider Kick!]
[Caeluslana: … (wants to speak but hesitates)]
[Kevin: I'm in the middle of eating and you show me these bugs?!! @Group Owner Na]
Kiana rolled her eyes at the camera.
Wait till you see Kevin later—let's see your reaction then… "My, my, I can tell you're all happy to see me♪"
Elysia leaned slightly forward, one hand behind her back, a finger raised, winking with her left eye, looking playful.
Facing countless Locust-like Insectoids of every shape, she showed no tension—on the contrary, she seemed to have everything under control.
The surrounding Insectoids exchanged glances, nodded in silent communication, then turned to Elysia.
Their compound eyes couldn't show expression, but the occasional crimson glint revealed their drooling desire for Elysia's body.
At that, Elysia's pretty pink brows drew together in delicate distress.
"Staring at a shy, flower-like maiden like that will only make her dislike you~♪"
She brushed her cheek, then produced a bow of translucent pink crystal.
Seeing her harmless appearance, the Insectoids couldn't hold back and swarmed her at once.
"I said, don't be so impatient~♪"
With a light leap Elysia sprang high, her supple body bending in a graceful arc.
She raised her crystal bow, drew to full draw, and a pink-energy arrow formed. In a beautiful motion she released the string toward the center of the Insectoids.
Swish—!
Crack—
A whistling cut the air; the arrow sank into their midst, and a giant crystal blossom began to spread.
Every Insectoid touched by the crystal pattern slowly turned into a pink crystal statue.
Compared with their former disgusting look, these sparkling pink forms were far easier on the eyes.
"Ely's turned everyone all pink and pretty~ Don't thank me too much♪"
She landed lightly, her long, slightly soft legs crossing as she tucked a strand of pink hair behind her ear and smiled.
Having so effortlessly wiped out a swath of their kin, Elysia was no longer a perfect brood-mother in their eyes but a top-tier predator.
Fear rippled through the swarm.
All the intelligent Insectoids began instinctively to retreat.
That was the price of gaining wisdom.
Unlike the pure spawn of the Bug Emperor, driven only by The Propagation's instinct, they had acquired emotions—among them, the primal fear of death.
They were Locust-like Insectoids from planets near the hive, smarter and greedier than common soldiers, and none of them wanted to die.
"Hurry, find the Commander!"
"Where's the Commander?!"
"The Commander's discussing invasion plans with the captains—go fetch him!"
Chitinous cries rose, as if passing messages.
But… "I can't let you run off for reinforcements♪"
Understanding their chatter, Elysia raised her bow and loosed a pink-energy shot into the sky.
In an instant a giant crystal barrier sealed every Insectoid inside.
From the flowered dome of the barrier countless pink lights began to twinkle.
Swish—thunk—
Pink energy bolts pierced every enemy within at lightning speed.
In no time the ground was littered with crystalized Insectoid bodies.
"These bug soldiers don't seem very strong?♪"
Elysia tapped her cheek, tilting her head at the crystal corpses.
Things had gone too smoothly; something felt off.
And deep beneath the crust, her maiden intuition told her something was there.
"No point overthinking—let's take a look around~♪"
She shook her head, stowed her bow, and stepped forward.
Along the way she saw remnants of past civilizations now overgrown with moss and vines.
Countless hive-like structures dotted the landscape—probably the Locust Bug homes.
"Sigh…"
Seeing the ruins of a once-glorious culture, Elysia sighed deeply.
In a way they were crueler than the old Honkai system—at least Honkai only destroyed, while these Insectoids savored enslavement and torment.
After more exploration and battles she arrived at a steel hive tinged with technology.
"This must be the planet's Insectoid stronghold~♪"
