It had to be said that the fight between Gray and Lyon was extremely boring. Neither had the determination to defeat the other; it felt more like a magic performance.
Two hours passed in a flash, and everyone was yawning. Finally, Acnologia couldn't take it anymore and sent both of them flying with a kick each.
"You bastard!"
"What do you think you're doing?"
The two shouted at Acnologia, looking thoroughly annoyed.
Acnologia waved his hand dismissively. "Alright, stop wasting time. Deliora would have been finished by now if you'd just gotten on with it!"
"How dare you lay a hand on Lord Zero Emperor! I will never forgive you!"
Sherry Blendy was furious. A magic circle expanded, and gravel condensed into a giant, preparing to attack.
In the next moment, Irene tapped her on the forehead with her staff, knocking her unconscious.
Lucy stared wide-eyed at the large bump swelling on Sherry Blendy's head. "How terrifying!"
Irene asked with a beaming smile, "What was that, little Lucy?"
"Nothing at all!"
Acnologia walked up to the ice-encased Deliora and shattered it into a cloud of debris with a single punch.
"And that's that!"
Everyone cried out, "How is that possible?"
Destroying Deliora with one punch? Was that even legal?
Acnologia said, "Actually, Deliora died a long time ago. He didn't have the immortal body you all thought he did."
After a moment of silence, Lyon showed a look of relief. "I see."
Ur hadn't expected this either, but since Deliora was dead, it was finally over.
"As long as we explain everything to the villagers, we've completed the mission!"
"Let's go back!"
The group relaxed, their faces lighting up with joy. This mission had turned out to be far too easy.
Acnologia noticed the masked figure in the distance and said calmly, "How much longer are you going to hide, Ultear?"
"I can't believe you found me!"
The masked man stepped out, his form shifting until he became a beautiful woman with long black hair holding a crystal ball.
Ur was utterly shocked. "My daughter! This is impossible... aren't you... dead?"
The people at the research institute had told her with their own mouths that her daughter was dead. What was going on?
Resurrection from the dead?
"You're Ur's daughter?"
Gray and Lyon looked over. They had heard long ago that Ur had a daughter, but they had never seen her.
Ultear's expression was cold. "You were the one who abandoned me back then. You have no right to call me that now!"
"I'm sorry! Back then it was because..."
Ur tried to explain anxiously, but Ultear interrupted her. "I'm not interested in hearing it."
She turned and walked away, saying without looking back, "I will never forgive you!"
Irene smiled. "What a tsundere daughter."
With her back to the group, Ultear's face showed an annoyed expression. 'You're the tsundere, your whole family is tsundere!'
Her figure flickered and she disappeared.
Looking at the weeping Ur, Lucy comforted her softly. "She's just speaking out of anger. I believe you can be like Erza—a family reconciled and whole again."
"Yes!" Ur nodded gently, wiping her tears. "These are tears of joy. Since my daughter is still alive, I still have a chance to make amends for my mistakes!"
Gray said from the side, "Don't worry, I'll help explain things to her. I'm sure my senior sister will come back."
Natsu agreed. "You can ask Acnologia for advice. He managed to coax Erza back with just a few words, right?"
"Like hell! Don't you dare say things like that in front of Erza, or I'm afraid I won't be able to stop myself from beating you into a cripple!"
Acnologia remained expressionless. He had talked his head off just to reconcile with his daughter.
Although he really hadn't done enough compared to leaving Erza for seven years, his daughter was fortunately very understanding.
Suddenly, a chilling aura appeared. "Who reconciled?"
"Erza!"
Everyone was terrified. Gray and Natsu were so scared they hugged each other. "What are you doing here?"
Erza walked over with a cold face. "Don't forget you all snuck out. Every single one of you is coming back with me to face punishment."
"Without a single S-Class Mage among you, you had no right to take an s-class mission!"
Irene chuckled behind her hand. "Yet another tsundere daughter!"
Erza was furious and about to retort when, in the next moment, Acnologia happily scooped her up and held her high in the air.
"You bastard! Put me down this instant!"
Erza's face turned beet red, her sense of shame exploding. She could no longer maintain her previous aura.
How was this deadbeat dad so fast? She could never react in time.
Seeing Erza being suppressed by her father, Natsu burst out laughing. "Let's head back!"
"Alright!"
The group laughed together in high spirits.
Back at the village, after the barrier was broken, the moon finally returned to its original state. The villagers regained their memories as demons and readily gave the reward, then enthusiastically hosted them for the night... Seven days passed in a flash.
Many things had happened over the past few days. Ur and Gray had found an alchemist to forge a brand new body, which she had now switched back into, her appearance and figure exactly as they were before.
Now, Ur had set out to search for her daughter.
Due to a Lost Magic mission, everyone had swapped souls, but in the face of Irene's Enchantment Magic, it was no problem at all.
After that, the three members of Levy's team were injured and were now lying in hospital beds.
This was the work of the Phantom Lord Guild. Not only that, but the opposition had directly attacked their doorstep.
As for the reason, it was simply because the Phantom Lord Guild Master, Jose, found Fairy Tail annoying.
Phantom Lord used to be called the strongest guild, yet they had been overtaken by Fairy Tail. How could he stand for that?
In the original plot, Phantom Lord's target was Lucy, whom they captured. But now, Lucy's mother wasn't dead, and with Irene being close to Lucy, there was no way she would let such a thing happen.
No matter how many of those small fry came, they were all tossed into the river. Especially that Iron Dragon Slayer Mage named Gajeel; he talked so much trash that Irene nearly hammered him into a pile of scrap metal with her staff.
At this moment, over a hundred members of the Phantom Lord Guild rushed into the Fairy Tail Guild building, smashing and looting. Many members were injured.
Currently, in terms of high-end combat power, Fairy Tail was still far ahead.
"Enchantment: Mass Reinforcement!"
Irene tapped her staff lightly. Red magic power covered the field. The exhausted crowd stood up once more, each one full of energy and feeling their bodies brimming with power.
"As expected of Irene! This level of enhancement is incredible!"
"Awesome! I'm going to take on ten of them!"
"I'm all fired up! Iron Dragon, let's settle this!"
Natsu shouted excitedly. This was the first time Irene had enchanted him, and he felt invincible all of a sudden.
Guild Master Jose of Phantom Lord watched his guild members being crushed one by one and stomped his feet in rage. "Damn it! Who is that scarlet-haired woman? How can she use such a high-level mass enchantment?"
How did Fairy Tail have such good luck to have such a powerful support join them?
Never mind that old man Makarov; now even those brats like Natsu could make him feel pressured.
Mirajane was amazed. "Truly impressive. Even I feel fired up for the first time in a long while."
"Heavens Wheel Armor!"
Erza re-equipped instantly, her body covered in bladed armor. She said furiously, "Everyone, launch the counterattack!"
"Heavens Wheel: Blumenblatt!"
Thousands of blades suspended in the sky shot out in an instant. Dozens of Phantom Lord members were wounded and forced out of the battlefield.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
A series of magical collisions and explosions rang out. Wood chips, gravel, ice, fire... amid the interweaving energies, the Fairy Tail Guild building suddenly collapsed into a pile of ruins.
Jose repelled Makarov with one move and rushed out. "Gajeel, you take the men and hold off the pursuers. Aria, Juvia, Sol, Totomaru, come with me to activate the ultimate weapon!"
Gajeel said confidently, "Leave it to me!"
"I won't let you succeed!"
Gray looked serious as he performed Ice-Make Magic. A hundred-meter ice wall blocked the path of the five!
Juvia's face turned red, and little hearts popped up in her eyes. "Such handsome ice magic!"
"Idiot, stop daydreaming and let's go!"
Jose was furious. He shattered the hundred-meter ice wall with a punch, stepped onto a black phantom, and grabbed the love-struck Juvia, flying into the sky.
The other three followed closely behind and quickly disappeared.
