This was the first time Sienna had deliberately teased Tiara like that.
For a moment, Tiara simply stared at her, but when the meaning of Sienna's words finally sank in, a warm flush spread across her face. She lowered her head, fingers tightening around the edge of her clothing as she tried to hide her embarrassment. "Young Miss is making fun of me."
Sienna chuckled.
She had not intended to push the teasing too far. Tiara was already embarrassed enough, and Sienna knew that if she continued, the girl might actually flee the room.
Still, there was something else behind her smile.
Relief.
Sienna had spent enough time around Tiara to notice the small things, the way she became quiet whenever marriage was mentioned, the way her eyes sometimes followed Sienna when she thought nobody was watching, and the way she became slightly tense whenever Lucien's name came up.
