Henry and Yukari (Grandma) roll cautiously into a nearby village.
Henry (thinking):
"…Okay, first mission with a comrade went well. Hopefully no one trips into another portal this time."
Suddenly, a commotion breaks out near the town square. Two figures are fending off a group of small goblins.
Boy (shouting):
"I'll protect you, Sister! Don't move!"
Sister:
"Be careful, Big Brother! Watch your step!"
They defeat the goblins with surprisingly coordinated moves.
Henry (thinking):
"…Wait. Who are these two?"
Scene 2 – Introduction
The boy and sister turn toward Henry and Yukari, who are watching from a distance.
Boy:
"I'm Riku, and this is my little sister, Mina. We protect our town and handle emergencies ourselves!"
Mina:
"…And yes, we can handle magic and combat. Don't worry about us."
Henry (awkwardly revving engine):
"Uh… hello. I'm… um… Henry. And this is… Yukari, my comrade… kind of…?"
Yukari (smiling):
"Hello. I'm Yukari. I help… well, chaos and magic things."
Riku (raising an eyebrow):
"…Chaos, huh? Sounds interesting."
Henry (thinking):
"…Great. They introduced themselves before I even got a proper word in."
Scene 3 – First Mission Together
A new alert pops up on Henry's magical system interface:
System Message: Reincarnate and protect 2 civilians from a wandering monster.
Henry:
"…Perfect timing, as always."
A forest monster—a massive centipede-like creature—bursts from the outskirts of town.
Henry:
"Everyone, stay behind me… or try to dodge!"
Riku charges forward, summoning a magical sword.
Mina casts a protective barrier.
Yukari spins her staff in a dazzling attack.
Henry, as Truck-Kun, spins and uses portal bursts to send stray goblins away accidentally.
Henry (thinking):
"…Okay… teamwork is going surprisingly well."
Monster explodes in a comical puff after combined attacks.
Scene 4 – Comrades Officially Join
After the fight, Henry revs proudly.
Henry:
"Alright… everyone did amazing. Umm… officially, would you like to be my… comrade?"
Riku (smiling confidently):
"Of course. We'll help you, Truck-Kun."
Mina:
"And me too!"
Yukari pats Henry on the bumper:
"See? Chaos is more fun with friends."
Henry (thinking, slightly embarrassed):
"…I guess I finally got the introductions right."
Scene 5 – Adventure Continues
The new team—Henry, Yukari, Riku, and Mina—rolls through the outskirts, ready for the next mission.
Henry:
"Okay… let's try not to accidentally portal anyone this time."
Mina:
"…No promises."
Riku:
"Let's just enjoy the adventure, Truck-Kun."
Henry revs dramatically:
"…Right. Adventure it is!"
Above the clouds, Rein floats silently, observing.
Rein:
"…Interesting. The team is growing. Let's see how long they survive."
