Chapter 88 - Chapter 88 : Saving People From Other Regions

They had just escaped death, and now they were witnessing a massacre performed by their saviors.

As they watched, a realization dawned on them, this team from the Eternal Sect had also been through war.

It wasn't that these young people hadn't faced any hardships or dangers in this Secret Realm.

It was just that they were incredibly, unbelievably strong. They were a force of nature, cutting through the endless horde with ease.

Zhao Yue, who was busy treating wounds, looked up and smiled reassuringly at the stunned survivors. "Don't worry," she said calmly, "they'll finish it soon."

Lan Suyin, also focused on her healing work, added gently, "Yes, let me treat your wounds first. You're safe now."

The two girls continued their crucial task, their faith in their teammates absolute, even as the sounds of battle raged around them.

The six Eternal Sect disciples continued to fight, each using their own special powers and styles. They were like a well-oiled machine, cutting down enemies left and right.

After a few intense minutes of this great battle, the ground rumbled, and a new, more terrifying threat appeared. It was time for the Soul Transformation Realm Nether Rats to show up.

And they weren't just a few; around 400 to 500 of these powerful creatures came together, filling the valleys and slopes of the rocky mountains.

This time, even for the strong Eternal Sect team, it was going to be much tougher to fight back. These rats were on a whole different level.

Bai Wei, Zhao Tie, Xiao Yun, Mu Chen, Da Zhuang, and Lan Ruo all looked at each other. They nodded,

a silent understanding passing between them. Then, each of them took out a special item: a 9th-tier talisman.

Bai Wei held a green talisman, which glowed with the power of wood. It was a Wood Dragon Talisman.

Zhao Tie pulled out a golden talisman, shimmering brightly. This was a Golden Dragon Talisman.

Xiao Yun's talisman was light blue, hinting at wind. It was the Wind Dragon Talisman.

Mu Chen's talisman was gray, dark like shadows. He held the Shadow Dragon Talisman.

Da Zhuang had a brown talisman, solid like the earth. It was the Earth Dragon Talisman.

And Lan Ruo's talisman was a deep ocean blue, representing the sea. She held the Sea Dragon Talisman.

Then, all six of them shared a mysterious smile. Without another word, they activated their talismans.

In just a few short moments , in mere milliseconds the talismans lit up with incredible light.

Then, before everyone's eyes, six different kinds of elemental dragons took shape in the air above them.

These were not just illusions; they were powerful, glowing beings of pure energy.

The people from the Southern Region forces, who had been watching, stood up instantly when they saw the powerful dragons. Some of their legs were shaking uncontrollably from fear and awe.

Some gritted their teeth so hard it hurt. Others' eyes bulged out of their sockets in disbelief, and many simply stared in horror. But one thing was clear to all of them.

The immense power, the aura these dragons gave off, was at least at the level of Void Refinement, a realm far above the Soul Transformation Realm of the rats they were fighting.

Then, the six Eternal Sect members waved their hands. In just seconds, after receiving their orders, the six elemental dragons roared and started their attack.

Six different, powerful elemental attacks rained down on the horde of Nether Shadow Rats.

In just a single moment, one after another, the rats began to die, their forms dissolving into dark smoke.

After only a few more minutes, all of the Shadow Rats and mountain beasts were gone. They had all died a miserable death, utterly crushed by the overwhelming power of the elemental dragons.

The six disciples let out a heavy sigh of relief. The danger had passed. Then, they walked back towards the group of survivors.

The Southern Region people, now safe, started shouting loudly in appreciation. They were incredibly happy and grateful to have met this team from the Western Region's Eternal Sect.

They knew for sure that they never would have been able to defeat those thousands of Nether Rats and mountain beasts on their own. Their saviors were truly extraordinary.

Right after their big battle, when the Eternal Sect team was trying to rest and recover from their injuries, a huge noise came from one direction.

Everyone looked over and saw even more people than the Southern Region group running towards them.

This new group was also close to death. Many were so badly hurt that the path they had come from was marked with blood. Some had even lost arms or legs.

Injured people were being carried by their friends or other members of their group.

They were running wildly, escaping from the beasts and Shadow Rats that were chasing them.

The six Eternal Sect disciples looked at the Southern Region survivors who had just recovered, and then at Zhao Yue and Lan Suyin.

Zhao Tie spoke quickly, his voice firm. "We are going to fight those chasing them. It's your job to save these new people from their injuries and life-threatening wounds."

Bai Wei immediately took out a special bag from his space ring. He was from the wood peak, a peak known for its healing powers, so they had more medicines than any other group. In the last few months,

their sect master had given them countless 9th-grade medicines and even some 8th-grade medicines, from the lower ranks all the way to the best.

He only took out a small part of his 9th-grade medicines, ranging from lower to middle rank. But these medicines were still incredibly valuable, even for powerful 8th-tier sects.

The Southern Region people watched with tears in their eyes. They knew that if these Eternal Sect members weren't here, they wouldn't have survived.

And now, these amazing people were trying to save yet another group. It was a big deal because, in the Secret Realm, all groups were usually competitors, not helpers.

The six disciples didn't waste a minute. They immediately ran towards the new group of people who were rushing towards them.

They ran past the fleeing cultivators and went straight to attack the huge swarm of water monsters and Nether Shadow Rats that were chasing them.

The fleeing group saw what was happening. A warmth spread through their hearts. Since arriving in the Secret Realm,

they had been constantly fighting monsters, and no one had ever come to save them. But now, someone had stepped up and was fighting for them.

While the six disciples were battling the monsters and Shadow Rats, stopping them from attacking the fleeing group,

the recovered Southern Region people, along with Zhao Yue and Lan Suyin, reached the new group. They saw it was the people from the Eastern Region.

Only a few of them were left. Many were from different sects like The Azure Jade Pavilion, Whispering Leaves Sect, Eastern Sword Sect, and Hidden Snake Valley.

There were also many wandering cultivators who didn't belong to any specific sect.

Zhao Yue and Lan Suyin, with the help of the recovered Southern Region members,

immediately started treating the wounds and injuries with the pills and bandages Bai Wei had given them. Soon, everyone was receiving care.

Some of the girls in the Eastern Region group started crying after seeing how many people they had lost.

They had lost many friends, even their older senior brothers and sisters.

Then, they looked into the distance and saw the six people who had come to rescue them. They were still fighting with all their power.

All of them were panting, clearly tired, but they kept fighting with everything they had.

At last, they watched as the six disciples again took out their special talismans. Six different kinds of elemental divine beasts appeared and joined the fight.

In mere moments, all of the chasing beasts and rats were killed. The battlefield fell silent again.

Everyone cheered and shouted in excitement. Some of the Eastern Region survivors even went towards the six Eternal Sect disciples and lifted them onto their shoulders,

shouting in victory. They were so grateful and happy to be saved.

After all the fighting, everyone finally found a moment of peace. The survivors from the Eastern and Southern Regions started talking about all the terrible things that had happened to them. Meanwhile, the Eternal Sect disciples were resting, letting their bodies heal and getting their spiritual powers back.

After a few hours, as the sun began to set on the horizon, they had fully recovered. Even though it was a Secret Realm, it still had a sun and moon, making the weather feel normal.

Just then, another group of people appeared in the distance, heading their way.

Everyone became alert again. Some survivors even reached for their weapons, ready to fight if needed.

But the eight Eternal Sect members smiled. They recognized the newcomers.

It was a group from the Western Region. Leading them was Wei Chen,

the young man Huai had helped before. Wei Chen was also a student from the Eternal Academy in the Western Region.

Bai Wei shouted, "Wei Chen! Come here with everyone!"

Wei Chen heard Bai Wei's voice and felt a wave of relief and happiness.

He knew that if it weren't for the Eternal Sect disciples and the special token their Sect Master had given him, his group would have died in this Secret Realm a long, long time ago.

Wei Chen quickly ran towards them, and the other cultivators from the Western Region followed him.

For them, the Eternal Sect was the most powerful group in their region.

Now, the entire Western Region looked to the Eternal Sect for guidance and leadership.

When they reached the group, they saw many injured people from both the Eastern and Southern Regions.

They immediately understood what had happened because they had also faced similar dangers.

Although their group had suffered far fewer losses compared to the other two regions, their group was the largest among all the survivors.

Wei Chen sighed. He felt a bit uncomfortable seeing the people from the Asura Blood Sect, he had grudge against the asura blood sect.

But at this moment, the Asura Blood Sect members just wanted to survive and leave the Secret Realm, so no one caused any trouble.

After a short talk, everyone started to set up camps for the night.

While most people were busy making their camps, the eight disciples from the Eternal Sect were working on something special.

They were setting up an 8th-grade formation, a powerful protective barrier that their Sect Master had given them for safety before they came into the Secret Realm.

This formation would keep them safe through the night.

Night had fallen over the core area.

After a long, tough day, filled with battles and fear, the people from the three regions had finished their meals. Now, they were resting in their own camps, trying to get some sleep.

But one person was not sleeping. He was sitting on the ground, looking up at the bright moon, deep in thought. This was Xiao Yun. He was very handsome and wore the white uniform of his sect.

He didn't carry a weapon, as he was a wind element cultivator and a direct disciple of the Wind Peak Master of the Eternal Sect.

His long hair moved gently in the night breeze as he stared at the beautiful moon.

Just then, someone walked quietly towards him. Xiao Yun looked at the person for a moment, saw who it was, and then turned his gaze back to the moon, not paying much attention.

The person who came didn't say anything right away. Instead, he just rested his head on Xiao Yun's lap and lay down on the ground, looking up at Xiao Yun.

Finally, he spoke, "What are you thinking so deeply about?"

Xiao Yun looked down at the handsome face staring up at him. His heart started to beat faster.

He had feelings for this person, this "idiot" as he secretly called him, who had been teasing him non-stop since they first met at the Eternal Sect.

Yes, the person lying on his lap was Mu Chen, a handsome young man with short black hair.

Xiao Yun tried to brush him off, saying, "Nothing!"
