Chapter 21 - Chapter 21 Nobita's Troubles About Being Late (Part 2)

Nobita, who couldn't sleep late at night, pulled open the closet and shook Doraemon awake. "Doraemon... Doraemon, wake up!"

After being woken up, Doraemon dazedly opened his eyes and looked at Nobita. "What's wrong, Nobita?" As soon as he finished speaking, Doraemon let out a yawn.

Seeing that Doraemon was awake, Nobita grabbed his round little hand. "Do you have any way to make Mom change her mind and move to a place right next to the school?"

Doraemon scratched his head with his round little hand. "Then wouldn't it be fine to just move the school across from our house?" he said groggily.

Nobita looked at Doraemon blankly. "Move the school here? Can that really be done!" Nobita's expectant gaze fell on Doraemon.

"Yes, but it's too late now. I'm going to sleep. We'll talk about it tomorrow." Saying that, Doraemon closed the closet again.

After getting a definite answer from Doraemon, Nobita also lay back down on his tatami and fell asleep.

"Do you remember what you said last night, Doraemon?" Nobita looked at him seriously.

"Oh! You mentioned moving last night. In that case, we just need to use this." Saying that, Doraemon reached both hands into his four-dimensional pocket and rummaged around.

"Found it! The moving map." Saying that, Doraemon unfolded a blank map and placed it on the floor.

"First! Say the range of the area where the building you want to move is located, like the town we live in!" As soon as he finished speaking, the map lit up with a white light.

The white light gradually faded, and the layout of the entire town appeared on the originally blank map.

Doraemon lay on the large map and found the positions of the school and Nobita's house.

"Alright, now we'll first peel off the school, and then peel off a few of the neighbors' houses near our home.

Then we swap positions and stick the stickers back in place." Doraemon clapped his hands and looked at the map beneath him with satisfaction.

Nobita watched Doraemon's simple operation on the map. "Can the school be moved here just like that?" Nobita asked Doraemon with some doubt.

Doraemon looked at Nobita with a confident face. "In that case, go look out the window first."

Opening the window, Nobita looked in shock at the school across from his front door. "Wha... what? The school is really across from our house."

"It's exactly like on the map!" Doraemon said proudly.

Nobita turned his head repeatedly to look at the school and then at Doraemon. "You're amazing, Doraemon!"

Doraemon smiled. "This way, you'll never be late again."

Nobita also jumped up in excitement and gave Doraemon a big hug. "Really... thank you so much, Doraemon!"

While Nobita was still excited, Teacher Eiichiro Terakoya walked out of the school gate and saw the Nobi house across the street.

He thought blankly, "Was the Nobi house always this close to the school? In that case, the home visits scheduled for the weekend should start with the Nobi house."

Saying that, Teacher Eiichiro Terakoya walked to the Nobi house across the street and rang the doorbell.

"I've come for a sudden visit today! It's to discuss Nobita's studies with you parents." After Eiichiro Terakoya finished speaking, he looked at the two people in front of him.

Hearing this, Nobitas Mother also replied seriously, "Alright! Mr. Eiichiro."

Seeing this, Eiichiro Terakoya continued, "In that case, I hope you can discipline him strictly! It's important to make him study hard.

Also, your house is so close to the school! Yet Nobita is still late every day. You must take control of this."

Nobitas Mother listened seriously, but was a bit confused as to why the teacher said their house was so close to the school. "Alright! Mr. Eiichiro, we will discipline him strictly."

After the two of them saw off Nobita's teacher, they looked at Nobita sternly. "If you don't do well on the next exam, Mom won't forgive you!"

After Nobitas Mother finished scolding Nobita, she took her small cloth bag and went out to buy groceries.

Stepping out, Nobitas Mother took a small slip of paper from her cloth bag, which was densely covered with the ingredients she needed to buy today and the things she needed to do.

"Let me see... I need to go to the Bank first, then to the Butcher Shop to buy some meat, and..." Nobitas Mother looked seriously at the contents of the paper and didn't notice that the neighbor across from her house had turned into the school.

After being scolded by his mother, Nobita returned to his room and sighed. "It seems having the school near home also has its downsides!"

Doraemon looked at Nobita. "Actually, it's fine as long as you study hard."

Nobita looked at Doraemon. "It's easy for you to say! Your expectations of me are too high."

Just then, Nobi Nobisuke came to find Nobita with a letter. "I'm sorry! But this is really urgent. Could you please go to the Post Office for me, Nobita?"

Nobita took the letter from Nobi Nobisuke's hand. "No way! I have to go to the Post Office? That's really far from our house."

Seeing this, Doraemon smiled and said, "In that case, let's just move the Post Office near our house!"

Saying that, Doraemon lay on the map again. "Let me see... I just need to swap this one with that one."

After the swap, the Post Office appeared right next to Nobita's house, and Nobita quickly mailed Nobi Nobisuke's letter.

After mailing the letter, Nobita returned to his room and looked excitedly at the moving map on the floor. "This is so much fun! Doraemon, let's swap a few more and make our home even more convenient!"

At this time, Lu Ming had already bought a few sausages and some small fish snacks and arrived at Shizuka's house.

Lu Ming knocked on Shizuka's door, and a beautiful woman who looked very much like Shizuka came out. "Hello, Auntie! My name is Lu Ming, I'm Shizuka's classmate. Is Shizuka at home?

We've made plans to go to the Park this weekend to find a kitten."

Shizukas Mother glanced at the fair-skinned and handsome little Lu Ming. "Shizuka is still studying in her room. I'll go call her for you."

"Alright, thank you, Auntie," Lu Ming said seriously.

Shizukas Mother brought Lu Ming to the living room and poured a cup of tea for him. "Thank you, Auntie!"

Shizukas Mother looked at the well-behaved Lu Ming and said, "You're such a polite child! Alright, I'll go call Shizuka for you first."

Shizukas Mother went to the second floor and knocked on Shizuka's door. "Shizuka, your classmate is here to see you."

Shizuka opened the door and came out, looking at her mother. "Is it Nobita?"

Shizukas Mother shook her head. "No! It's a little cutie named Lu Ming."

"I know, it must be about going to the Park to find the kitten," Shizuka said with a blushing face.

Shizuka hurried downstairs and saw Lu Ming sitting on the sofa in the living room.

Lu Ming saw the hurried Shizuka. "Good morning, Shizuka!"

Lu Ming followed Shizuka to the Park, searching for traces of the little Calico Cat.

Shizuka found its figure under a tree and slowly approached with a small fish snack in her hand.

When the kitten saw Shizuka, it quickly ran to her legs and rubbed against them.

Seeing this, Shizuka handed the fish snack to the kitten. Lu Ming also walked over from the side, holding a ham sausage. He looked at the cute kitten by Shizuka's feet and nodded with satisfaction.

After Lu Ming saw the kitten finish the fish snack, he immediately handed the ham sausage in his hand to the kitten in front of him.

When the kitten saw that Lu Ming also gave it food, it happily circled around Lu Ming a few times and rubbed against his palm.

Lu Ming stroked the kitten in front of him, and it rolled onto its belly, making a purring sound.
