"Hahaha! The cops?" He stepped closer and said in a mocking voice. "Do you think they are going to magically come save you?"
Lily bowed her head and didn't answer, looking self defeated and accepting fate, but her fingers quietly gathered a small amount of sand from the ground. It looked like her real plan was to use the dust to temporarily blind the attackers and get away with Jessica as quickly as possible.
But unfortunately for her, one of the men who had been cautiously watching them suddenly noticed what she was doing.
"Hey!" His eyes narrowed. "What do you think you're doing? Trying to get away from us, huh?"
Lily's expression changed. She knew she had been caught red handed by one of them. Now her only chance to escape had vanished like the wind. There was no way she could even dream of handling five imposing men.
The man raised his leg and cursed out loud.
