After their conversation, Nyx returned to reading her business magazine while Alex occupied himself with food, occasional naps, and sometimes trying not to think too hard about the fact that the beautiful woman sitting across from him had somehow managed to uncover something important through only something as simple as observation alone.

After a long grueling couple of hours later, the luxurious private jet finally began its descent downward. Alex glanced out of the window and saw the sprawling city below growing larger and larger.
