What that looked like from the outside was me full on palming my forehead for a good three minutes before slowly moving my hand back as a dense rainbow colored orb left my head. The funny thing was that the orb was nearly three meters wide so it looked like I had pulled a full on person sized globe from my skull. I flicked the orb to the mass of tentacles and eyes that was Mora's manifestation here and as it sank in the writhing mass quivered as the knowledge entered it and the eyes seemed to roll slightly in ecstasy.
"YESSSSS! This! Ah! Superb!" Mora roared in triumph and joy.
"Erhm!" I cleared my throat to make it clear I was waiting for my part of this bargain.
"As promised, your prize. May it serve you better than it's previous owners." Mora said almost dispassionately.
It was like compared to the knowledge I gave him his side of the bargain was not worth shit. And right now that may very well seem true. The problem as he would eventually figure out is that what I gave him has absolutely zero use to him beyond it's rarity. I didn't know how I got sent to this world, nor any method to go to other worlds. In other words the knowledge was effectively a peek at the multiverse with no way for him to touch it.-
For a being whose entire existence could be summed up with the phrase "Compulsive hoarder of knowledge" this was more a curse than anything. A whole new world of knowledge he now knows exists but he can't have, he's going to go berserk when he figures this out. I was true to my oath however and fairly traded the knowledge to him as I held back absolutely nothing.-
Every minute detail I remembered I had given him. There was simply no more I could give him even if he desperately wanted it, something obvious from the information itself. The knowledge orb that he sent me while a strange mix of green, white and blue was only a third the size of the one I sent him. Barely pushing a meter in total. As it sank into me it was like a grenade went off in my head as a torrent of thousands of years of knowledge flowed into my mind.-
My nose bled profusely as this raw compressed information forced itself in place. It was all I could do not to go mad in the impressions, memories of the work and sheer ungodly amounts of calculations. It was so bad I didn't even notice the three meter long shimmering greatsword that was stabbed into the floor before me. The Ehlnofey weapon. I must have stood there for nearly an hour blanked out to reality even as a few other princes had arrived. When I finally managed to preliminarily sort through the new collection of knowledge in my head I shuddered in fear at how close I came to mentally breaking.-
'I got greedy.' I thought thanking the gods that my intelligence stat was so abnormally high and my soul so sturdy.
"Finally awake are you? Enjoy your trip?" a playful male voice said with a chuckle.
I looked over to the source and saw it belonged with a what at first glance appeared to be a lanky Bosmer with two long thin horns curving up from his forehead. He wore a plain white toga style robe and full bind leather sandals.
"Vile." I said more a statement than a question.
He grinned a charming smile and gave a flourish "In the glorious if diminished flesh." he said warmly like greeting an old buddy.
"How long was I out of it?" I asked as I looked around and saw five other manifested princes here.
Azura, Boethiah, Peryite, Sanguine and Hircine.
This meant at this exact moment I was in close proximity to exactly eleven of the seventeen daedric princes. All of which besides Mora and Sanguine were eyeing me in various ways. Mephala was flirty, Nocturnal inquisitive but neutral, Boethiah was bloodthirsty, Meridia had a contemplative expression, Peryite I couldn't tell since he took the form of an argonian with dragon wings.-
Azura had a calm smile, Hircine looked amused and Sheogorath was doing a little jig in mid air because fuck gravity I guess. Then there was Clavicus Vile, arguably one of the biggest assholes counted among their number. Vile was an interesting case as he was the lord of regret and deals. His favorite model of operation was serving as a sort of monkey paw that granted the wishes of mortals, but in a twisted way if he could get away with it. Frankly he just loved watching mortals be filled with regret from the consequences of their decisions.-
"Oh not terribly long in the grand scheme of things, just a century. Quite the bargain in my opinion." The god said and I sighed and looked at Nocturnal.
"My lady, could you be so kind as to tell me the truth?" I asked respectfully.
A ghost of a smile tugged at the corner of her perfect lips "Only an hour." she said calmly and Vile clicked his tongue with a disappointed expression.
"Thank you." I said respectfully before really looking around.
The princes weren't the only ones here despite being the standouts. There were normal daedra, worshipers of the Madgod and to my great surprise Archmage Aren who was currently chatting up with a spider daedra that looked like she was positively smitten with him.
'Seeing the Archmage rizz up a literal spider demon wasn't on my bingo card of expectations.' I thought speechlessly.
The old Dunmer caught me staring and had an amused smirk on his face as he winked before focusing on the lady who demanded his attention. I promptly decided I wasn't going to judge and looked away. Then there was Sanguine who had a somehow set of a fountain of crimson wine that had various acts of debauchery carved on it's sides with the statue on top being a beautiful elven woman squeezing her breasts to produce "milk" that was instead just wine.-
"Now THIS is what I call a party! Look at them all Nephew, reveling and partaking of our finest selection of cheese! Why I'm so happy I could just throw another rock at Vivec! HAHA!" Uncle Sheo said as he threw his arm over my shoulder in a cheerful embrace grinning literally ear to ear.
