Main Characters
1) Shane Walker

Relationships: Main protagonist. Biological son of Morgana, and grandson of Cassia. Primary lover of Nyra. Sexually claimed Morgana. Now leads settlement defense efforts. Fractured psyche but fiercely loyal to "his" people.
2) Nyra Voss
Appearance: Mid-30s, dark hair, hazel-amber eyes (glow when using power), athletic yet curvy, often in tank tops and cargo pants or Shane's hoodies.
Personality: Mature, calm, intense anchor to Shane's chaos, post-Emberheart corruption has made her bloodlust-obsessed, violently aroused by gore and power, obsessively devoted to Shane (accepts and encourages every taboo act, including incest), possessive, dominant with Morgana, warm yet feral.
Ability: Crimson Edge (Emberheart) — supernatural machete that amplifies wounds (unzips/tears wider, fueled by rage/anger). Combat-focused; wounds continue to worsen after the strike.
Relationships: Shane's former professor, now primary lover and enabler. Fiercely devoted; shares Shane sexually and emotionally. Recently initiated Morgana into the dynamic.
3) Morgana Sable
Appearance: Late 40s–early 50s (appears younger due to survival stress), silver-streaked black hair, striking purple eyes, G-cup breasts, curvaceous and maternal hourglass figure.
Personality: Warm, and maternal, yet deeply guilt-ridden, and emotionally torn (horror + growing desire for Shane), slowly surrendering to taboo attraction, still conflicted, but is beginning to accept the incestuous relationship.
Ability: Vitality Siphon is Morgana's awakened power, unlocked during an intensely emotional and physically overwhelming sexual encounter with Shane. The ability manifests as a subtle, pulsing purple aura that flows from her hands, skin, or even her breath during intimate contact, allowing her to drain or transfer vitality (raw life force) to or from any living thing—plants, animals, humans, or even partially to undead (though less effective on the latter).
Relationships: Shane's biological mother and Cassia's daughter. Sexually claimed by Shane (multiple times). Now in early stages of accepting the forbidden dynamic.
4) Cassia Sable
Appearance: Appears ~40 (actual age 60s+ due to awakening and youthening effect), silver-white hair in a loose bun, luminous blue eyes, massive breasts (larger than Morgana's), voluptuous and fertile hourglass figure, often in apron over simple dress.
Personality: Wise, calm, and nurturing, but quietly powerful, while being internally conflicted (voyeuristic arousal from watching incestuous acts), with manic internal theories. Secretive observer who touches herself while conflicted.
Ability: Plant manipulation — summons/grows whipping vines/thorns from soil (lethal in combat, nurturing/healing in gardens). Versatile (offense + utility).
Relationships: Shane's grandmother, Morgana's mother. Leader of the settlement. Secretly aroused by Shane and Morgana's taboo acts; watches and touches herself but has not confronted yet.
The Undead Sentries
Appearance: Rotting corpses, black-veined skin, milky eyes, often armed with scavenged rifles.
Personality: None (mindless, obedient).
Ability: None independent; tools/weapons only. Controlled exclusively by Shane.
Role: Permanent perimeter guards; tireless, emotionless, grow in number as Shane kills/raises.
