Hey everyone, this is another novel idea that I've had for a while, which is mostly inspired by Eastern power systems with a mix of Western influence in there to round things out. This will be my most power-intensive series that I've written to stay tuned for that.

As per usual, everything is explained in the story already, but if you forget, please refer back to the index. Enjoy reading!

Bloodlines: the manifestation of your ancestors' blood mixed with the divine. Everyone with even a hint of ether can awaken this when they reach the age of 18.

Canvas or Internal Canvas: A metaphysical world inside the consciousness. On it, a template of the true form of the animal deity is already drawn.

- Think about this like the Martial Soul from Soul Land or the Core in other mediums.

Lines (Sometimes called Strokes): Each line basically represents a character moving closer to their animal deity's true form, which basically represents how powerful a Mystic is. This effectively serves as cultivation levels, or tiers of power.

- One must have immense focus, will, ether, and some luck to successfully draw a Line and effectively "break through".

- However, lines do NOT have to follow the Bloodline template. Drawing one outside the template is a lot more difficult and your chance of messing up is higher.

+ With just one stroke, one can turn their Canvas into a Demonic Canvas, which can only be leveled up by absorbing other's ether.

+ However, also with just one stroke, one can evolve their Bloodline by knowing its origins and roots, along with insane willpower.

Pathways or Evolutionary Pathways: Each successfully drawn Line will give its host the choice to permanently alter the Element and Traits of their Bloodline.

- Every 3 Lines will give its host the choice to choose a new Element while every 1 Line will give its host the chance to add a new Trait to change their Bloodline's form.

+ Elements can be: Fire, Water, Ice, Earth, Grass, Shadow, etc.

+ Traits can be: Flying, Burrowing, Nightvision, Crawling, etc.

- However, Elements and Traits of opposing nature such as (Fire and Water, or Burrowing and Flying), can not be chosen due to the fundamental laws of the world. All except for Aren, of course!

Element Refinement Stages: the refinement of a specific Element and how proficient a user is at using said element. Scales from 1 to 9.

Arts: Special techniques that are limited to a specific Bloodline. A single Art will be gained each time a Mystic advances to the next Line.

Titles: Every bloodline fighter who actively trains, cultivates and gets stronger are called Mystics, and depending on the number of Lines they have, these are their titles:

- 1 Line: Novice (Able to take out a Soldier Class-Beast comfortably, and struggle to take out Semi-General Class Beasts)

- 2 Lines: Adept (Able to take out a General Class Beast comfortably)

- 3 Lines: Practitioner (Will struggle to take out a King-Class Beast)

- 4 Lines: Elite (Able to take out King-Class Beast comfortably)

- 5 Lines: Veteran (Will struggle to take out a Ruler-Class Beast)

- 6 Lines: Ascendant (Able to take out a Ruler-Class Beast comfortably) 

- 7 Lines: Master (Will struggle to take out a Lord-Class Beast)

- 8 Lines: Grandmaster (Able to take out a Lord-Class Beast comfortably)

- 9 Lines: Half-Immortal (On par with Demi-God Class Beast)
