She rubbed her throat, lips pursing.
The room became quiet enough to hear everyone's breathing.
Seeing the sadness clouding the woman's face made Ambrose's lips twist a bit with pity. A part of himself still blamed himself for the Void Entity ever existing to begin with.
"... It's been rough for me. For us." She continued with a light sigh. "Celeste is still only eight. Half the time she doesn't even realise she's using her abilities. She gets excited, frightened, angry... and things around her float. I can't sign her up for training in any Esper foundation just yet. I want her to have a normal childhood.
