The once crimson sky rippled, shifting back to a clear late afternoon. The zombies froze… then they shifted back into normal, disoriented humans.
Corpses of those who died rose, gasping and wondering what the hell happened.
Magnus took a step back, his forehead crumpling. "What kind of illusion is this?"
"Sir," Trina, who was on her phone, murmured. "It's… it's not an illusion." She turned the screen to Alisha and the Guild master.
On it was a post on Instagram made literal seconds ago from a verified account, alongside a picture of the sky.
