Hale-Ferguson Residence
Outside the gates, the number of zombies had begun to thin. Most got discouraged by Loki's seemingly impenetrable illusory wall and simply dragged themselves to other houses.
The ones that remained could either only slam aimlessly against the invisible wall or walk around weakly.
Suddenly, the air shifted.
The crimson skies rumbled with a thunderstorm, lightning cracking through the clouds. A huge bolt of lightning landed on the ground some meters away from the zombies, two figures emerging from it a couple of seconds later.
"So we're sure Loki is here?" Wukong grunted, swinging his staff onto his shoulder. "Hm. This house doesn't look half bad."
The glow in Yemoja's eyes dimmed as she scanned the area. "This place is heavily infected."
"Tell me about it," Wukong whistled. "That's a lot of zombies for the suburbs."
"We need to check on Loki fast," Yemoja mumbled, about to begin moving.
That's when the growls from the zombies became more violent.
