"You actually know so many Spells! Why didn't you use them earlier?"
Weilin Te looked at Furan with shock, while in front of them lay Tols, covered in wounds and bleeding slowly, his life or death unknown.
"I didn't realize this Spell would be useful for a moment."
Furan explained. She had indeed somewhat forgotten about this Spell, not expecting its effect to be so good.
After Furan's Brittle Armor Spell lowered his armor, their attacks were no longer hitting hard rock, but rather rock that was slightly more brittle.
This allowed them to end the battle quickly.
Weilin Te still looked at Furan with some surprise. She hadn't seen Furan fight before and only knew Furan's strength was above her own, but didn't know by exactly how much.
During their joint attack on Tols just now, she keenly discovered that Furan was not only much stronger in close combat than when they first met, but the number of Spells she knew far exceeded her imagination.
"You're so lucky to find so many Spells... and all of them are useful," Weilin Te said somewhat sourly.
Normally, a Spirit Realm Ranger can barely obtain four or five arts during the apprentice stage, and they aren't necessarily compatible.
Because the Spirit World has a mechanism that sets a cap; once you obtain enough Spells or Combat Skills, the probability of obtaining the next one decreases.
Take Weilin Te herself: she had two Spells, which should theoretically be good, right? But her other Spell required a three-second chant to cast.
Without a full set of Spell-enhancing equipment, even with a three-second chant, the damage dealt wasn't much higher than Lightning Impact. So, after using it a few times, she shelved the Spell.
As for Furan, according to her observations, Furan had also demonstrated a defensive body-covering Spell in the battle just now, totaling four Spells, all of which were useful.
Plus, she could tell Furan had several Combat Skills; otherwise, there was no explaining how her physical stats were so high.
This set of configuration was simply the best setup she had dreamed of when she first entered the Spirit World, making her incredibly envious.
"Let's hurry and search this place before someone comes."
Furan raised an eyebrow and reminded her.
She wondered if it was as she guessed—that all the Guard were out on patrol—because they hadn't encountered a single guard blocking them since they entered.
Although some of those servants had also taken the dragon transformation potion, they didn't even know how to use weapons. They just had better physiques and were easily defeated by the two of them.
The only real obstacle was the Priest before them.
"You're right. I'll search this side, you go over there."
Weilin Te also knew time was of the essence. Without wasting words, she immediately began to act.
After a quick search, the two of them arrived in front of a large door.
Weilin Te pushed the door with her hand, but it didn't budge at all, as if something was propping it up from behind.
"It seems this is the only place left."
They had searched most of the area, which consisted of resting or worship areas, making it impossible for the potion materials they needed to be there.
But the place in front of them had a locked door, and they couldn't find the key anywhere.
"Then let's break the door down," Furan suggested.
Weilin Te, thinking about how long they had already stayed there, agreed.
Furan cast the Brittle Armor Spell and used her Modification School Specialty to enhance the Spell's effect, shooting it directly at a section of the door.
Weilin Te didn't care anymore either. She swung her greatsword and smashed it fiercely against that area.
With a loud 'Bang!', the resulting vibration made the entire building shake, causing some unstable parts to make 'clattering' sounds.
The area that was hit kicked up a cloud of dust. Once the dust settled, the thick stone of the door was revealed.
The two of them didn't expect to deal with the door in one go, so they repeated the process. Finally, on the third try, they smashed a hole large enough for a person to crawl through.
The two of them hurriedly crawled inside and saw the scene within.
Inside the room, thick stone encased the entire space. There appeared to be no other way out except for the door behind them.
In the middle of the room was a patch of soil planted with some kind of vegetation, and next to it was a large lid that seemed to be covering something.
"Are these the materials for the dragon transformation potion?" Weilin Te asked, as she lacked knowledge in pharmaceuticals.
Furan stepped forward to examine the plant. Its stems were covered in many small thorns, and at the tip was a small bulb that looked like an unbloomed flower.
But Furan knew the plant was already mature; the unique scent of a mature plant made her absolutely certain.
"It should be just one of the materials. There are others."
Furan turned to look at the large lid nearby. She felt the other material was inside.
On the ceiling of the room was something emitting light, seemingly used to assist the growth of these plants. By this light, Furan saw what was under the lid.
About a meter or two below the ground level was a pool of red liquid that seemed to be boiling, with ripples appearing on the surface.
Furan frowned. She was certain these were the materials for making the dragon transformation potion. Even with her extraordinary-level Pharmaceutical Studies, she could vaguely sense that these two materials could create a very powerful potion.
But the problem lay with the liquid below. She could sense that the grade of the liquid was very high, far exceeding Rank 1.
She wondered if this liquid was related to the destruction of Monsa City seven days later.
And what shocked her most was the sheer quantity of the liquid.
The area below was at least twelve square meters. Judging by the marks on the nearby walls, the liquid had originally been level with the ground, within reach of a hand.
"Hey, are you done yet? Time is running out," Weilin Te urged from the side.
Seeing Furan staring blankly at the hole, she grew anxious while she was busy pulling the plants up by their roots.
"Coming."
Furan also knew she couldn't dally. She used the Water Control Spell and, under Weilin Te's shocked gaze, drew the liquid up from below and placed it into a nearby bucket.

When Luka heard the Guard report the smell of blood coming from the Hall of Divine Revelation, he hurriedly led men inside and rushed to save the dying Tols.
Then, as he and the guard squad looked at the large hole in the door, they felt as if the sky was falling.
