"Hey, Wakabayashi!" Ayaka couldn't help but greet her little brother playfully when she saw him finally coming out of the stadium. "Having a good time with Tsubasa Ozora or what?" She giggled secretly at her own question.
In return, Higo just rolled his eyes exasperatedly. "Haha, real funny, Aya-nee." His tone was full of sarcasm.
It was after everything was over, and even though the stadium was still full of people talking excitedly about this win, not a single one of them bothered Higo's family. Well, after all, they were quite low-key during their stay here, so no one really knew that those were the family of their new hero in this town.
Higo himself let out a relieved sigh the moment he saw them waiting outside. Even though he exchanged jabs instantly with his sister, inwardly, the boy felt like the depleted energy from the game earlier started to come back slowly as he was surrounded by his beloved family.
