Chapter 131 - Kurana Alexanderia (4)

The room felt heavier after Kurana's tale. Kurogami leaned back in his chair, eyes narrowed as he processed everything. "This story of yours," he said slowly, "how exactly is it related to the topic of the Universal Will? And it looks like you already knew his story, Ritik."

Ritik gave a simple shrug, his voice steady but distant. "Grandfather told me."

Kurana exhaled, rubbing his temples before launching into the explanation. His tone was calm but carried the weight of centuries. "The Universal Will is basically a type of artificial system—half-conscious, half-programmed. It oversees the balance and rules of the universe itself. Every universe in the multiverse has one. It's what keeps things… contained."

Kurogami listened intently, arms crossed. Kurana continued, choosing his words carefully. "The Will controls outer gods from interfering too directly. It acts like a barrier. Outer gods aren't supposed to enter these universes freely. If they did, they could capture living beings, play with them however they liked—reshape fates, drain souls, turn entire worlds into their playgrounds. The Will prevents that chaos."

Kurogami's brow furrowed. "Who created this system? The Universal Will?"

Ritik answered without hesitation. "Angels. They're the messengers of the multiversal god. They built it to maintain order across realities."

"So these things do exist," Kurogami murmured, almost to himself, a rare flicker of unease crossing his usually stoic face.

Kurana nodded. "They do. And yes—Solarius Knight and Purple Sun God came from the same land. They were best friends once. Brothers in arms, really. Shared the same origins, the same exile."

He paused, letting that sink in before pressing on. "But time changes everything. Purple Sun God never let go of his grudge. He wants revenge for their banishment from the Mystic Realm. Then, in the year 2009, his three-year-old daughter appeared out of nowhere in this universe. And now here we are… discussing the Universal Will."

Kurogami pieced it together, his voice low. "I understand everything now. You're saying that if the daughter of Purple Sun God manages to suppress or 'rotate' the Universal Will, then outer gods could attack this universe. Capture it."

Ritik's reply was grim, eyes hardening. "Imagine it ten times worse."

The silence that followed was thick. Kurana stared at the table, jaw tight. Ritik's hands clenched into fists at his sides, old anger simmering beneath the surface. Kurogami simply watched them both, the implications settling like stones in his chest. The conversation had peeled back layers none of them truly wanted to face, but ignoring it was no longer an option.

Kurana finally broke the quiet. "We can't let that happen. Not after everything i've already lost."
