Zayne and hanami were friends for almost 2 years now, they've created millions of memories together.some of the students even heard fake rumors about our friendship.
—like we were secretly dating,but none of it was true.
Until—this female student transferred to your school,and ever since then other students adored her because of her beauty,intelligence,and her great manners.
Including Zayne.
One day—the three of you were at the cafeteria, eating lunch. Except it was only Hanami who was eating.
Until Hanami noticed that Zayne's walls slowly cracked open when close to janice (the girl who transferred and is stuck to him like a LEECH). Zaynes expressions were more gentle, and caring toward her.
Meanwhile—there she was, Hanami. She was a blur for the both of them, like they deliberately avoiding her.
She clenched her jaw,and dropped her fork.
—she stood up unexpectedly,her chair scraping against the polished floor. As she excused herself.
Zayne slightly flinched at her sudden storm off,and felt something's wrong.
Janice kept on chattering about her shitty day, but Zayne wasnt paying attention no more.
He hesitated at first—but eventually managed to follow her. Quietly,footsteps slow and steady— he left janice alone at the table looking confused and mixed with a twist of annoyance.
Hanami strided to the bathroom, her leather boots clicked loudly—her hair matching with the motion. As she walks inside the women bathroom.
Zayne couldnt follow since it was for women (duh), so he thought of waiting for her outside.
Meanwhile—at the bathroom there was Hanami clutching the bathroom counter, glaring at her reflection on the mirror—enough to pierce through a massive stone.
Thinking about that stupid 'janice' girl.
After a few minutes of talking bullshit about her,she walked out pretending to fix her 'earrings'. —as she did she collided with Zayne,she stumbled back but Zayne managed to hold her back. Hanami pulled away her eyebrows furrowed, Zayne was dead confused.
"Are you okay?"
He asked cautiously,obviously concerned about her sudden abscond.not secretly,
Hanami rolled her eyes, and replied with a cold stoic tone.
"Im fine,i just fixed my earrings"
She lied,but Zayne wasnt buying it. Hanami never wears earrings, she never does.
But he didnt questioned it since he dont wanna push any further, instead he just nodded.
As they were walking back to class Hanami strolled a few steps ahead.
Purposely avoiding him,
Zayne snapped—he reached out gently to grab her arm.
"Did i do something wrong?"
"Why are you purposely AVOIDING me?"
His word felt like a sharp knife stabbed infront of me,i didnt wanna hurt him,instead i just didnt respond and headed straight inside the classroom..
Then i sat down at my seat beside the window. Birds chirping,petals drifting down,others blooming. And sunlight striked beyond the glass..
Her tensed up shoulders soften slightly.
