Chapter 47 - Daredevil

In the bustling Hell's Kitchen, a fierce battle was raging.

Gunshots and shouts mixed together, a familiar cacophony that the local residents had grown accustomed to. Yet, the commotion today was unprecedented.

As a native of Hell's Kitchen, Matthew Michael Murdock couldn't possibly be unaware of the truth behind it all.

Matthew Michael Murdock, a man known to many as Daredevil.

This name struck fear into the hearts of the gangs. His true identity, however, was that of a newcomer in the legal world.

By day, he was gentle and rational, but by night, he transformed into an avenger of justice, using his fists and courage to fight against the evil forces that brought chaos to Hell's Kitchen.

Although Matthew loathed Kingpin, he had complex feelings towards Chen Ye.

From initially despising Chen Ye, believing that he would become as ruthless as his godfather, to later admiring Chen Ye, because Chen Ye had done many things that Matthew couldn't.

Firstly, Matthew himself wasn't as wealthy as Chen Ye. As the only blind lawyer in Hell's Kitchen, he was barely able to afford his rent, naturally lacking the funds to assist the residents of Hell's Kitchen.

Secondly, Daredevil didn't have Chen Ye's connections. Although Matthew had also tried to influence the community as Daredevil, the results weren't satisfactory. His power was limited, unable to change the community and protect the neighborhood as deeply as Chen Ye could.

When he heard that Chen Ye was being targeted by the gangs for building schools for Hell's Kitchen, Matthew himself wanted to contribute to Hell's Kitchen.

So, Matthew decided to target the most notorious gang, the Mexican Gang, making them Daredevil's primary target.

Daredevil said to the exhausted Old Ma, "You look worn out. Take a break. I'll take over here."

Old Ma was immediately displeased upon hearing Daredevil's words, and he straightened his back immediately.

"I can fight at this level all day, no need for a break."

Old Ma said firmly, then fired at the gang members again.

Matthew, seeing Old Ma's persistence, didn't say much more. He then charged into the chaotic gang battlefield, beginning his battle.

On the battlefield, Old Ma fought against the gang members while muttering to himself, "Why is it always a blind guy? Am I destined to team up with blind people?" Old Ma's face was full of helplessness.

With Daredevil, the mysterious reinforcement, joining in, Old Ma could clearly feel the enemy's firepower gradually weakening. He believed it wouldn't take long to eliminate everyone and end the battle.

Looking at the fierce and valiant Daredevil on the battlefield, Old Ma couldn't help but sigh with emotion: "Could it be that becoming blind makes your combat ability stronger?"

In the intense battle, Daredevil demonstrated extraordinary combat skills and keen perception.

He seemed to be able to predict the enemy's actions in advance, always making the most correct response at critical moments.

Each of his attacks was full of power and precision, leaving people in awe.

Old Ma and Daredevil fought side by side, their cooperation seamless.

They covered each other, fighting in coordination as they advanced step by step towards the gang's position.

On the other side of the battlefield, Master Ye's battle with Crossbones was in full swing. The rest of the S.H.I.E.L.D. combat team had already lost their fighting ability and were lying on the side.

Facing an opponent like Master Ye, Crossbones' face showed excitement; he hadn't met an opponent who was his equal in a long time.

The last opponent who could fight him to a draw went all the way back to Captain 50/50 during World War II.

"Your strength is indeed not to be underestimated. I haven't fought so freely in a long time. Why didn't you use your superpowers just now?" Crossbones praised.

Master Ye listened and responded with a simple laugh: "Thank you for the compliment. Originally, I wanted to have a fair duel with you, but it seems that I might not be able to defeat you without using my abilities. Next, I will have to use my abilities."

Master Ye was telling the truth. The opponent in front of him was very experienced, and Master Ye didn't intend to use his abilities at first.

Master Ye's abilities could easily cause large-scale damage, and he would have to call Chen Ye to pay for the damages later.

After all, Master Ye already owed Chen Ye too many favors and didn't want to cause him any more trouble.

But Master Ye found that he really couldn't handle Crossbones without using his abilities, and was even at a slight disadvantage. So, Master Ye had no choice but to use his superpowers.

Crossbones was a powerful opponent, his attacks swift and precise. Seizing the moment Master Ye was distracted, he launched a fierce attack.

Although Master Ye reacted quickly, he was still hit hard by Crossbones's punch.

"You dare to be distracted when fighting me?" Crossbones sneered.

Master Ye wasn't knocked down by the punch; he quickly stabilized his body.

He began to adjust his state, refocusing his mind.

Crossbones didn't give Master Ye much time to think, quickly launching a new round of attacks.

Master Ye's movements were agile, skillfully dodging Crossbones' attacks while simultaneously unleashing "Gravity Chaos."

"Gravity Chaos" could make opponents feel the abnormal changes in gravity.

Although Crossbones had special equipment, he still felt his body alternately light and heavy, unable to control his balance.

Gravity Chaos plunged Crossbones into extreme distress.

Each attack and defense became exceptionally difficult, as if struggling in a chaotic gravitational field.

No matter how rich Crossbones' combat experience was, it became useless in such an environment.

After a fierce fight, Crossbones finally couldn't adapt to this abnormal change in gravity.

His movements became increasingly sluggish, and his defenses showed flaws.

Master Ye seized the opportunity to launch an even more ferocious attack, forcing Crossbones into a retreat.

The fight seemed like a graceful dance, Master Ye's agile form shining like a brilliant star in the darkness.

Although Crossbones was strong, he seemed outmatched in this battle.

Ultimately, he was defeated by Master Ye, and the duel ended with Master Ye's victory.

However, Master Ye didn't kill Crossbones. After all, Crossbones was different from the gangs in Hell's Kitchen; he was an official.

Killing Crossbones could bring bigger trouble.

Moreover, Master Ye's target from the very beginning was Gust, the leader of the Mexican Gang.

Then, Master Ye slowly walked towards the safe house where Gust was staying.

The moment Crossbones was at a disadvantage, Gust at the safe house had already arranged for a helicopter to pick him up.

When Master Ye arrived at the safe house, Gust had already packed some of his belongings and was aboard the helicopter.

The helicopter's propellers whirred, making a buzzing sound, and the aircraft had already begun to slowly take off.

Gust, seeing Master Ye arrive, hurriedly urged the pilot in a fluster.

"Take off quickly, take off quickly." His voice carried a hint of nervousness and fear of death.

After confirming that the helicopter had taken off, Gust shouted down at Master Ye, "I'll be back! You just wait for me!"

His voice was filled with threats and provocation.

Seeing this, Master Ye sighed slightly, "Your only destination is Hell!"

Then he drew his Staff Sword and shouted, "Journey to Hell!" Afterwards, without looking back, he turned and left.

The next second, the helicopter suddenly lost gravity and instantly fell to the ground, exploding.

Flames soared into the sky, illuminating the dark sky.

Gust also perished in the sea of fire, ending his evil life.

"Damn, do I have to pay for this?" Master Ye scratched his head.
