After dinner, Han Shaoqing glanced at the sky. Night had quietly fallen.
Han Shaoqing planned to find a hotel for the night and figure out a way to get Artoria an identity tomorrow; otherwise, getting around would be inconvenient.
Han Shaoqing could fly, but flying himself wasn't as comfortable as taking a plane.
Enjoying life was important. Life was short, and he shouldn't neglect the scenery along the way just because he was focused on getting stronger.
Speaking of which, London's night scenery wasn't much different from that of Xiangjiang, but the local customs and traditions were still unique.
Classic European architecture and the dazzling array of art pieces in the shops were luxurious and beautiful.
When night fell, the bustling city of London completely transformed, becoming a neon world like a dream.
Han Shaoqing and Artoria walked on the neon-lit streets, where people came and went, and traffic flowed like a river.
Wealthy people were in luxury cars, surrounded by women, spending money like water, indulging in a life of extravagance.
One could also see some homeless people and beggars sleeping on the streets, unable to eat their fill, not knowing if they would survive the night.
The gap between the rich and the poor existed everywhere. Han Shaoqing didn't pay attention to the poor masses in Britain because that wasn't a problem he needed to concern himself with.
In this era, there were no smartphones, no artificial satellites, and no navigation. Han Shaoqing was visiting Britain for the first time, and Artoria had also come from another world and didn't fully understand this world.
They needed to go to a hotel, and the best option was to take a taxi.
Or, they could follow the main road and stay at whatever hotel they found.
Han Shaoqing chose the second method, going with the flow, and taking the opportunity to tell Artoria about the background of this era so that she could better integrate into this world.
Aside from matters of principle, Artoria, as a Servant, would follow Han Shaoqing's opinions.
As they were walking, the two of them sensed something unusual. They exchanged a glance and walked towards a deserted corner.
Not long after they entered the secluded alley, a well-dressed young white man followed them in.
But as soon as he entered the alley, he found Han Shaoqing and Artoria standing opposite him, looking at him coldly.
"Who are you, and why are you following us?" Han Shaoqing asked in English.
Ignoring Han Shaoqing's question, Reyn Simmons looked at Artoria beside him with some fascination and smiled, "Beautiful lady, may I have the honor of inviting you to dinner?"
"I've already eaten."
Looking at the man opposite him, Artoria stood in front of Han Shaoqing, subtly protecting him behind her.
Han Shaoqing sized up the handsome young white man in front of him, his eyes playful.
Because at such a close distance, he hadn't heard the other person's heartbeat, and he also felt a cold aura on him.
This kind of aura could fool ordinary people, but it couldn't fool Han Shaoqing and Artoria.
Reyn heard this, and a hint of a sinister smile appeared on his pale face, "It doesn't matter, because you are my dinner. Come with me, I can grant you eternal life and eternal beauty!" A strange light flashed in Reyn's eyes, and his voice seemed to carry a kind of magic, making people unconsciously lose themselves and obey him. Artoria's expression changed slightly, and she immediately drew her sword and swung it, severing Reyn's outstretched right hand. Artoria's sword was very fast, and there was no trace of the sword's movement. When Reyn realized something was wrong, his arm had already left his body.
What was strange was that his shoulder was bleeding profusely, but the severed arm didn't bleed. Instead, it was emitting flames, turning to ashes in mid-air. "Ah!!!" The pain of the severed arm made Reyn grimace in pain. Han Shaoqing, standing opposite him, could clearly see the sharp fangs in his mouth.
"A Dark Creature like you dares to try and control me?"
Artoria, holding Excalibur, sternly rebuked.
As a Heroic Spirit who lived through the age of magic, Artoria had slain countless monsters in her lifetime.
When Reyn appeared, Artoria sensed his unnatural nature. Despite his seemingly elegant demeanor, Reyn was, at his core, a bloodthirsty beast lurking in the darkness.
Therefore, when he attempted to control her with a charm, Artoria didn't hesitate to draw her sword and strike back.
"Damn it, are you priests from the Church?"
Severely wounded, Reyn clutched his bleeding wound and looked at Artoria in terror.
"No, we're just passing-by Kamen Riders."
Han Shaoqing spoke casually, then looked at Reyn with interest, asking, "You're a Vampire, aren't you? What kind of Vampire are you?"
No heartbeat, bloodthirsty, with fangs, and rather handsome; he fit the image of a Western Vampire.
In the Marvel world, Vampires do exist.
For example, there are the thirteen Vampire clans in Blade, Morbius the Vampire in Spider-Man, and Dracula and the Blood Baron in other movies.
American Vampire-themed movies have many types of Vampires.
Some Vampires use magic, some are the result of genetic mutations, and others are mutated due to viral infections.
Different types of Vampires have different abilities and weaknesses.
Most Vampires are afraid of light, but things like silver, garlic, crosses, stakes, and holy water depend on the individual Vampire.
What kind of Vampire was Reyn?
Han Shaoqing couldn't be certain, as this was his first encounter with such a Dark Creature.
"Die!"
Instead of answering Han Shaoqing's question, Reyn pulled out a handgun with his left hand and fired a series of shots.
Bang, bang, bang!
With a string of gunshots, Artoria swiftly swung Excalibur, splitting the bullets that flew towards her without missing a single one. Even Deadpool would be left in the dust by that sword speed.
Deflecting bullets with her sword was just basic operation for Artoria.
After blocking the bullets, Artoria raised her sword, ready to eliminate Reyn.
When Excalibur came down, Han Shaoqing used gravity to shift Reyn's position slightly, saving his life, but his left arm was still severed.
The severed arm, like his previous right arm, turned to ash in an instant.
"Aya, I'll take care of this."
As he spoke, Han Shaoqing strolled forward and stepped on Reyn's head.
