Chapter 5 - Commanding the Beasts

As an ancient creature that has survived since ancient times, Godzilla could actually understand human speech.

Ignoring the surrounding people's exclamations and screams, Godzilla controlled his speed, extended his giant claws, and grabbed the severed sides of the Titanic from below. He then pushed with his hind legs, swaying his tail, and lifted the half-submerged Titanic.

The massive ship was like a large toy in Godzilla's hands. Coupled with the buoyancy of the seawater, it didn't take much effort for him.

As the ship rose, most of the people on board stopped jumping into the sea.

After all, the outside temperature was already a few degrees below zero, and jumping into the sea was a bad idea.

Han Shaoqing, holding the Trident, stood on Godzilla's head and shouted, "Don't panic! Try to grab onto anything you can to steady yourselves. Don't move around!"

"Oh my God, is he an angel sent by you to save us?!"

"How did he do that?"

"We're saved!"

"Don't be fooled! He's a devil! It was that monster that sank the cruise ship just now. I saw it with my own eyes."

"What? Did a monster attack the cruise ship?"

"Attacked the cruise ship, and now he's pretending to be nice. What's his game?"

"Shut up! If we offend him, we're all finished!"

"Are we just going to stand here and watch?"

The ship was in chaos. Fear, doubt, and suspicion were rife, and many people's expressions began to change.

Han Shaoqing's hearing had been enhanced, and he could clearly hear the discussions of these people.

Immediately, he spoke in a low voice, "Quiet!"

His voice, as if imbued with a kind of magic, clearly reached the ears of everyone on the ship, and the clamor instantly fell silent.

"It was indeed Godzilla that collided with the cruise ship earlier, but it was unintentional."

Han Shaoqing heard Godzilla's voice at this moment.

"No, I did it on purpose. Who told them to shatter my ice?"

"..."

The corners of Han Shaoqing's mouth twitched slightly. Such an arrogant Godzilla... he couldn't afford to offend.

Han Shaoqing immediately changed his tone: "I don't want to argue. Those who don't want to die, do as I say right now."

As he spoke, he saw many people struggling in the water, and Han Shaoqing immediately jumped in to rescue them.

In the ocean, Han Shaoqing could breathe freely. This was one of the special abilities he gained after acquiring the Poseidon Physique.

In a few breaths, Han Shaoqing swam to a person who had fallen into the water.

He raised the Trident in his hand, allowing the person to grab the handle, and then swam towards another person in the water.

Han Shaoqing could save four or five people at a time, but compared to the survivors in the sea, this number was like a drop in the bucket.

At this time, there were at least two or three hundred people in the water, and Han Shaoqing was truly overwhelmed.

At this moment, Han Shaoqing, who was in the sea, sensed several Orcas swimming past, curiously observing him.

Orca Dad: "That person swims fast."

Orca Mom: "Honey, that person looks dangerous. Let's take the kids and leave quickly."

Through the power of Telepathy, Han Shaoqing could understand their thoughts.

With a thought, Han Shaoqing raised his Trident, and a special ripple quickly spread through the seawater.

In the ocean, Han Shaoqing's Telepathy could transmit for more than a dozen nautical miles. With the Trident's amplification, it could spread even further.

Marine life within a radius of fifty nautical miles received the message immediately and rushed towards Han Shaoqing.

Whales, sharks, dolphins, and giant squids were all present. With the help of the marine creatures, the people who had fallen into the water were quickly brought to the surface.

Chris was one of the people who fell into the water. He was pushed to the surface by a Megatooth Shark.

You ask if he was moved?

He didn't dare to move at all.

Chris didn't understand the current situation, trembling as he clung to the shark's back.

There were many others around him in the same predicament.

Some were being supported by Orcas, others were wrapped by octopuses, heading towards the iceberg or the nearest lifeboats.

A peculiar and spectacular scene unfolded in this sea area, as countless marine creatures began rescuing humans, creating an image of harmony between humans and animals.

Such a unique scene was breathtaking.

But in the face of life and death, people's desire to survive outweighed everything else, and they had no time to consider much else.

Godzilla towed the damaged cruise ship, heading towards the iceberg.

Han Shaoqing reminded him, "Be careful, big brother."

"I know."

Godzilla carefully approached the iceberg with the Titanic, slowly resting the ship against it.

Han Shaoqing, like a dragon emerging from the sea, leaped out of the water, jumping directly onto the deck dozens of meters high. He shouted to the terrified people around him, "Immediately take your clothes and supplies and move them to the iceberg."

"Also, contact any passing ships nearby. The outside temperature is very low right now; everyone should try to stay together to keep warm."

The survivors on the Titanic were still in shock.

Their eyes turned towards Han Shaoqing and Godzilla, filled with both curiosity and fear.

Han Shaoqing ignored the others, turning to jump into the water and pull some of the people who had fallen in onto Godzilla's back.

Then, using Godzilla's back as a bridge, he helped these people quickly return to the ship to change into dry clothes.

The Titanic was temporarily stabilized by Godzilla near the iceberg, and the people on the ship were discussing it.

"Did you see that? He jumped over ten meters just now."

"Is he a superhero? Like Captain America?"

"He looks like a Chinese youth."

"If he has us gather on the iceberg, is he planning to let that monster eat us?"

"Probably not. If it wanted to eat us, why would it save us?"

"Maybe it's because we were on the ship before, and it wasn't convenient to eat us. Now it's hit us on the iceberg, making it easier to take a bite."

"Perhaps it likes chilled food."

"Don't scare me."

"Maybe that's really possible. I saw with my own eyes that the monster crashed the Titanic."

"I saw it too!"

"What do we do now? We're at sea, and it's so cold. Without a ship, where can we go?"

"Perhaps that monster really accidentally hit the cruise ship, and now it's trying to make amends. We should think positively."

"What's the point of thinking about all that? I'm freezing to death. Don't think about these things. If we don't start a fire to warm up, we'll freeze to death here before the rescue arrives!"

"Don't just stand there, let's get on the iceberg first! Who knows when the Titanic will sink!"

"Not everyone get on the iceberg. There are still three lifeboats. Some of you get on the lifeboats."

"I'll get on a lifeboat."

"Me too."

"Stop arguing! Let the women and children get on the lifeboats. The rest of us will get on the iceberg and wait for rescue."

"Misia has contacted a ship to come rescue us. If we can hold out for four hours, we'll be saved."

"Really? That's great!"

"Four hours... I don't know if we can make it!"

...

Under Captain Smith's arrangement, the crowd gradually calmed down.

Some boarded lifeboats, some climbed onto the iceberg, and others helped those who had fallen into the water.

The iceberg wasn't actually safe either. The space was limited, and it could sink at any moment. Coupled with the frigid weather, it was not friendly to the survivors.

In such an environment, cold was the greatest threat to people.

Especially those who had fallen into the water. Their clothes were already soaked, and their body temperature was rapidly decreasing. If they didn't warm up in time, their lives would be in danger.

Human life was so fragile, precious, and cheap.

Han Shaoqing jumped into the water time and again, rescuing many people.

In truth, he didn't like these foreigners. Most of the wealthy people on the Titanic were extravagant and decadent, living a life of luxury. Many were capitalists who profited off the suffering of others, and many deserved their fate.

However, Han Shaoqing's Telepathy only worked on marine life. He couldn't see through people's hearts, so he didn't know who should be saved and who wasn't worth saving.

But he couldn't abandon everyone just because there were some scoundrels among them.

He rescued everyone he could. As soon as Han Shaoqing reached the iceberg, he saw Little Li and Misia huddled together.

Both of them were shivering from the cold, their faces pale, but they still couldn't forget to snuggle up to each other for warmth.

Han Shaoqing couldn't help but roll his eyes. The sour smell of love could inflict critical damage on a single dog like him.

Even when saving people, he was forced to eat a mouthful of dog food. Where could he reason with that?
