Chapter 45 - Chapter 45: Guest Professor Goku

"Confundo!"

Just as Goku's leg was about to strike Dumbledore, the Headmaster once again cast an instantaneous Confusion Charm. Due to the influence of the spell, Goku's attack was interrupted.

This time, Dumbledore did not Apparate away. Instead, he waved his wand repeatedly, firing off a succession of Sleeping Charms. Having just relied on his willpower to shake off the Confusion Charm, Goku immediately felt a wave of drowsiness hit him like a tide.

He knew this was magic used by Dumbledore, much like the "Good Child Sleepy-Sleepy Punch" Master Roshi used when disguised as Jackie Chun at the World Martial Arts Tournament.

"Can't sleep... can't sleep!"

Despite his desperate struggle to stay awake, his eyes eventually closed, and he collapsed to the ground.

"Whew... finally won."

Seeing Goku finally go down, Dumbledore couldn't help but wipe the sweat from his forehead. Even when facing Grindelwald or Voldemort, he had never felt this exhausted. With them, he understood their magic; it was a matter of counter-spells and seeing whose magic was superior. Aside from the Killing Curse, there was rarely a situation where a single hit was fatal.

Goku was different. Whether it was close-quarters combat or that energy wave, Dumbledore couldn't afford to be hit even once. Goku had an incredible talent for battle, but Dumbledore had never been defeated in this world either. Truth be told, there were still some "illegal" spells he hadn't even touched.

"Where is he?"

Just as he was about to lift the Sleeping Charm, Goku's body suddenly vanished. With his level of magical mastery, Dumbledore was shocked to find he couldn't detect how Goku had disappeared.

However, a thoughtful expression soon crossed his face. Goku had mentioned before that he only came to this place after encountering a door in his sleep.

Therefore, Dumbledore surmised that Goku's disappearance was likely because the Sleeping Charm had sent him back to his own world.

"You must come back!"

"Headmaster, what happened?"

Just then, a trail of black smoke flew in from the distance and landed beside Dumbledore. It was Professor Snape, the Head of Slytherin. He looked at the completely vanished Quidditch pitch and was nearly struck dumb.

The battle between Dumbledore and Goku had caused such a commotion that the professors and students at the start-of-term feast had naturally felt it.

However, within the grounds of Hogwarts, the professors couldn't Apparate and had to rush over on foot. Professor Snape, mastering flight magic, was a step ahead of the others.

"It's nothing. I was just duelling that boy. The duel is over now," Dumbledore explained.

Snape was stunned. He immediately realized that Goku hadn't used his full strength during their earlier fight in the Great Hall. Otherwise, judging by the state of the Quidditch pitch, the entire Hogwarts castle would have been destroyed.

"Did you win?"

"A narrow victory."

Dumbledore sighed with emotion; it truly had been a narrow victory.

"Where on earth does this child come from? How can he possess such terrifying power?" Snape's eyes widened again. If even Dumbledore only won by a hair, the boy's strength was beyond comprehension—especially at such a young age.

"Where is he now?"

"He's left for now, but I believe he should return tomorrow," Dumbledore said, staring at the spot where Goku had vanished, silently praying in his heart.

While the two were talking, Professor McGonagall and the other school teachers arrived one after another.

"Let's return to the school. I have something to discuss with all of you."

Dumbledore waved his wand, and by his own power alone, he used a Mending Charm to restore the entire Quidditch pitch. If Goku could return tomorrow, then his plan could begin. Tonight, he would give the teachers a heads-up.

...

The next day, Goku woke up slowly in the white space.

"I lost. Grandpa Roshi was right—there are many incredible masters out there. I need to visit more places and train even harder!"

At the World Martial Arts Tournament, he had lost to Jackie Chun. At Korin Tower, he had nearly died at the hands of Tao Pai Pai. During Fortuneteller Baba's tournament, his grandfather had caught his weakness.

And in this duel, even after eating his fill and being in peak condition with his full power, he had still lost to Dumbledore.

"I really want to learn those wizard moves. I wonder if Grandpa Dumbledore would be willing to teach me."

Standing up, Goku once again approached the door labeled *Harry Potter*. He wanted to learn any technique that could increase his strength.

He planned to go back to Hogwarts, ask Dumbledore to teach him those moves, and then spar with him again. He would stay until he could defeat Dumbledore before moving on to the next stage of his training journey.

Pushing the door open, he appeared back on the Quidditch pitch outside Hogwarts castle.

"Good morning, Grandpa Dumbledore!"

Seeing Dumbledore standing before him, Goku raised a hand and gave a polite greeting.

"Good morning, Mr. Goku. Would you like to join me for breakfast?"

Seeing Goku appear again, Dumbledore finally breathed a sigh of relief. After meeting with the teachers last night, he hadn't slept at all, waiting here through the night until Goku showed up.

"Food? Great!" At the mention of eating, Goku's mouth immediately began to water.

Dumbledore summoned Fawkes, and in a flash of fire, he brought Goku back to the Headmaster's office. With a tap of his finger on the desk, a massive amount of fragrant food appeared instantly.

"Wow! How do you make so much food appear at once? Is this your magic, too?" Goku looked at the table full of delicacies with curiosity. He had noticed it yesterday, but his mind had been on the duel, so he hadn't asked.

If he could learn to make food appear out of thin air, he'd never have to worry about going hungry again.

"This food isn't made by magic; it's prepared and sent here by the house-elves," Dumbledore said with a smile and a shake of his head. "However, if you want to use magic to create food, it isn't impossible. As long as you master advanced Transfiguration, you can turn other things into any delicious food you want. But this process must follow Gamp's Law of Elemental Transfiguration. For example, we cannot create food out of nothing, but we can transform it..."

Dumbledore rambled on, leaving Goku completely bewildered. Without a foundation in magic, he couldn't understand the principles of Transfiguration, but that didn't stop him from trying his best to memorize it.

"Do you want to learn?"

Seeing the timing was right, Dumbledore suddenly made his offer. Goku nodded without the slightest hesitation.

"I can teach you if you want. Not just Transfiguration, but any magic I know, I can teach you personally. But there is one condition." Dumbledore paused for a moment. Seeing that Goku didn't look displeased, he continued, "I would like to invite you to be a Guest Professor at Hogwarts, to teach the students how to use the kind of power you showed last night, and to teach them your way of fighting."
