I was in the same dark space I was the first time I was in a magicule induced coma, but this time I was in my room in the frozen continent, except everything was in black and white. I walked around trying to find what was happening and get me out of this.
I already knew this was a dream, I just had to find what I needed to do to get out of here. I also wanted to see if there was anything in my subconscious that was causing Elysia to function in such a manner. This was basically an escape room that, I was trying to find Easter eggs before leaving.
I was currently inspecting every object and scenery very closely, trying to find the answer to my problems or a problem at least.
What I was trying to find was something that differed from my original room. There are a few differences, mainly a giant trash bag in the middle of the room. I looked into the bag and found some weird stuff. A bunch of melted candles, empty pill bottles and most prominently, his old impaled body now a decrepit corpse but still recogniseble.
I looked to my left and in place of the couch that Velzard usually waited for me to wake up, there was now a door.
I opened the door and found a modernized small apartment bathroom. Except for a couple details that stood out of place. The sink and bath were filled to the brim with dirty foamy soap, the smell being revolting. Another thing that made the smell apparent was the clogged toilet that was constantly pouring out shitty water.
…Overall, this is just a filthy remake of my room. I walked out of the room to find that my bed had disappeared. In it's place was a wooden chair that looked like it was on its last legs, in front of a mirror.
I walked over too and sat in the chair and looked into the mirror, for some reason, the action just felt right.
But what I saw in my reflection caught me off guard, it certainly wasn't myself. What I saw was a very beautiful man, man is subjective though.
The man had glowing cerulean eyes, practically the only bit of colour in this black and white dream, the other two noticeable features was the long black hair with white speckles creating the image of the night sky; and the horns coming out of his head curving backwards, almost like that of a dragon.
I stopped inspecting the reflection in which everything came crashing down, literally. The worn out chair beneath me gave out and I fell to the floor. I tried to get up but I felt immense pain and weakness coursing throughout my body, I checked the source of the pain and found a hole where my heart was. The man in the reflection had the same wound and then the mirror cracked.
The mirror kept on cracking, causing the world around me to degrade at the same rate.
Finally the world went black and the mirror broke, the man coming out and holding my weak body by the neck. The man's gaze on me looked gentle, empathetic and pitiful. But it suddenly smiled a menacing grin and mouthed three words, See you soon.

"AHH!" I woke up screaming, my body covered in sweat.
Velzard lying beside me, immediately rised from the commotion I was creating, "Woah Woah Woah, calm down now." Velzard tried to calm me down, she got on top of me and straddled my hips as I sat up in bed. She forcibly embraced me pushing my head in her soft chest.
"Zarry, l-let me… go! Where's Guy? What happened? Is Nyx and Amanises ok?" I began frantically moving around, trying to resist the dragons embrace.
"Shhhhh, everything is fine, you don't have to worry, everyone's ok." Her words caused me to stop resisting her comforting actions.
" What happened?"
" You don't know?" Velzard was stunned by the fact that he was oblivious. He was panicking as if he knew what was going on.
" No, I just feel like I've done something terrible."
Velzard could feel his shaking body and was both concerned and relieved. Concerned because he felt so vulnerable, relieved because… it seemed that Veldora's suggestion worked to some degree, he was clearly experiencing stuff resembling a human, " I guess the experiment worked. You have changed quite a bit."
Velzard's words caused him to take note of his body, "I…" The constant perspiration of his fluids, the violent trembling of his body, the tears flowing from his eyes. The feelings of fear, anxiety and anger had faded away so slowly that I hadn't even realized that I had lost them, but now that I had them, I was filled with a bit of relief, "I'm- I'm me."
Velzard clutched onto me again, for a minute I didn't know how to react. After a while, I shakily wrapped my arms around her and layed my head in her soft chest, my eyes filling with tears of gratefulness and in the middle of my sobs, I said two words.
" Thank you."

" You know, Velzard said you were a massive crybaby just now." Guy teased from across the table.
Velzard was sitting adjacent to us, reading a manga that she had gotten from Veldora, Velzard's eyes rose from the paper in astonishment and mouthed, "So Estarossa was actually Mael all along?"
Guy seemed amused by Velzard's new hobby, he looked at me with conviction, "I have to tell you that this restoration isn't a permanent fix, you'll most likely go back to how you were before, but for now we can consider your state to be stabilized."
" I'm sorry for bothering you with this."
Guy noticed that I seemed more human, even more than before he met me, "You don't have to worry, I care about my student wellbeing, probably cause my student made me so in touch with my emotions." Guy didn't give up the opportunity to tease me.
I just looked at him with annoyance, "Shut up you arrogant demon! Why don't you just go to El Dorado and get shot down by Leon!"
" Hey! You wanna fight, let's fight!" Guy got up in anger, in which Velzard just put her hand on his shoulder and pushed him down into his seat, " as I was saying, you don't have to worry about me. If anything, you've given me a challenge that can quell my centuries worth of boredom."
Velzard perked up hopefully, " You know you can stay as long as you want."
" Thank you but I have to reassure the little ones back at the lab."
" Ok then, well you're always welcome back here."

I teleported home and found the robot and wolf asleep at the door. I woke up the two causing them to try and get their bearings. When they finally gained clarity and realized who had awoke them, they jumped at him, hugging him with tears of relief.
"Don't worry you two. I'll never leave you."
