From the design of the first hero to the hosting of the first match; from the sudden emergence of the Star Sea Cup to the grand opening of the Professional League. Along this journey, it was your every click, every cheer, every suggestion that supported us to reach today.
I often checked game data late at night, looking at those lit IDs, imagining you behind the screens: perhaps students who had just finished their homework, perhaps office workers ending their day, or perhaps wanderers studying abroad. In this virtual Summoners Rift, we met because of a shared passion.
Now, the Star Sea Team has a professional training base, players have a comprehensive welfare system, and esports competitions have ascended to a larger stage. But we always remember that the foundation of all this is each and every one of you, the ordinary players.
However, dear Summoners, every story must turn to the next page.
The establishment of the Professional League means that league of legends esports can now develop independently and healthily. Just like parents watching their children grow into adults, it's time to let it venture out on its own.
And you, too, should go face the true "Baron" in your lives.
That opponent called "life" is stronger than any BOSS in any game. It won't give you a chance to restart, there are no guides to consult, and you're not even sure if there will be a day of victory.
But I believe that the perseverance learned in Summoners Rift, the mindset tempered in losing games, and the trust built through teamwork will all become your equipment to defeat this powerful opponent.
